Right here goes monday...
Update time...
One poll now on £26.20...
Have been invited back onto the RM panal despite only being put to rest in November, its usually 6 months rest.. Hope this goes ahead as I do like doing my parcel posting for extra vouchers.. The only downside is they are digging up all the roads around my local P.O so that will be a pain...
The cat...was limping when I got home on friday, a visit to the vet's offered up some puncture wounds on his leg and a bill for £90..... Its a good job I have an emergency fund in place... will now have to top it up again...
Today is day 1 of ... well not sure really.. being abit healthier I think.. so tonight I shall be going on myand getting my lardy bits moving.. dd and I shall also set up the wii fit.. I want to lose about a stone before the summer, should take me about 2 -3 months as I'm not depriving myself of everything...
The OH got right on my nerves yesterday.. popped to the pub for a couple... yeah right.. 4 hours later came back slurring etc.. I meanwhile have spent the last few hours slashing a dead pig with a stanley knife... (crackling...) and cooking a roast.. which he eats with lots of silly comments, annoying both dd and myself.. I knocked my glass off the table, shattered all over the wooden floor he just kept eating and saying.. it wasn't me, it wasn't me... could have brained him with the said pig.... he then got the hump when I suggested he stop drinking and have a soft drink and he went to bed at 8pm... silly sod...
Job same as everyone else I suspect more cuts coming... no point worrying about it, will tackle that when I need to..
This week i'm going to be whizzing about and then plan to do some overtime at the weekend as I have lots of additional spends this year and not enough pennies to spread round the saving pots.....
Still holding onto £60 of my christmas money, nearly spent it on the cat but chose the e.fund instead...
NSD3 here.. better than I used to be, didn't used to have any in a month...!
Hope all have a good week and I will update if/when something exciting happens... a lottery win would be good....:rotfl:Christmas 2020 £109

Hi Puzzcat,
Hope the exercising is going well. I am rubbish at sticking to any exercise regime.
Naught Dh. He sounds like a funny drunk. Got to be grateful for that hehe.
Well done for not spending your £60 Christmas money yet. Ours is all gone.
I would love to win the lottery too, but I can't face paying £2 per ticket.:o

I would so love to win the lottery as well ss... in fact today I found £5 in a puddle... and have spent £2 on a ticket.... well you never know.....
Nothing much to report moneywise today, a few food spends, still debating what to do about my cat. He is booked in for a check up tomorrow.. no doubt that will cost.. but he seems fine so not sure whether to cancel....
Also got visit to the nurse at the gp tonight for that lovely lady test.. you know what i'm talking about... don't know why but this doesn't usually bother me, but today it is.. ho hum in 4 hours it will all be over....
My dd seems a little out of sorts at the moment as well, she seems to be suffering from all kinds of self esteem/teenage worries...am keeping a close eye on her....
Still clinging onto my £60.. although if I take the cat to the vet I can see that disappearing.. it was suppose to be for my haircut....grrr...Christmas 2020 £109

Hi Puzzcat,
How are things? Hope you did'nt bother with the vets, especially if the cat seems fine.
Hope your DD is ok, its tough being a teenager, I would'nt want to go through it again.
Hope the "Lady Test", went ok, a necessary evil x

Sunday already...
So I didn't take the cat to back to the vet's, I did ring them and they tried to persuade me at a cost of £28... so I agreed I would bring him in if he showed any problems, which he hasn't so far fingers crossed...
I know the poor NHS get a bashing but I can't fault the service (if you can call it that..) I had lately.. Test on Tuesday and received the results all normal yesterday... :j All done for another 3 years..
Moneywise..
Creation came back with a fat no, like i expected and I shall make contact with the FOS this week by phone or letter...
Also did first overtime visit for the month yesterday, am hoping to notch up 4 or more so extra pennies in February...
Lovely evening with my bf last night, she bought a bottle of pink champagne to celebrate the new year which was lush, and we ate nachos (her fave..) and chatted till midnight... No more social events until the end of the month when out to dinner with my lovely mum..
Been lazy and not done any exercise since last monday.. I'm not very good until I get into the swing as it were, so will try again tomorrow....
All ready for work tomorrow.. boo... but won't be too long until half term and I shall have a few days off then... Then May will rush around and I shall be off to Venice.. looking forwards to that one, but will need to stash some pennies for spendies....
No holiday this summer.. boo again... but dd wants to do days out, shopping/theatre etc and we have the wedding abroad albeit for only 2 days.. also gcse results, prom etc.. its all going on this year....
Bank account still in credit, don't really use it apart from dd's try to use cash as much as I can.. 11 days till payday and then into my 4th month of dmp... the total debt is now starting to go down after the initial going up with charges/interest etc... I will post figures after the next statements...
Paid in another £10 towards the wedding fund.. 50p's and also saving for dd's driving lessons.. (about 18 months away..) but that's now up to £51.
I am keeping up with my no reduced food buying and haven't added to my massive stash in the freezers apart from 2 bags of reduced mozerella, for when I want to make pizza's..
Now off to watch dancing on ice..
bye.. xxChristmas 2020 £109

Hi ss, I have so many saving pots.. its such a novelty having a little spare money to put in them.. not sure that will ever wear off..!!
Well today... had a really strange nights sleep.. solid for 7 hours then wide awake at 5... yuk.. 5.. what's that all about... didn't help that my neighbour was defrosting his noisy diesel vehicle outside my window from 5.30.... and one of the cats was sick on my freshly laundered bedding..
Oh well, another day another doller.. put in my overtime claim for my first visit of the month.. hoping to do 3 more but will have to see how the time goes.
Waiting for sky to call and confirm time for them to visit tomorrow to fix our box......
Have completed fos complaint form re; creation interest charging and just need to photocopy a letter and then can post it off...
Not a nsd as need a few bits from the shop.. as per....

Bit of a non day today, been stuck at home waiting for sky this afternoon, of course they turn up whilst i'm getting the hard sell from BT on the phone as I'm looking at changing my IP... also spoke to talk talk (current IP) so lots of holding on the phone waiting to speak to people....
Was going out to do a visit later but picking up dd later than normal and then haven't meal planned very well so if I do go out we won't end up eating till about 8.30... bit late for me so may rethink the visit plan...
No money news today, did a little shop at sainsbugs but had £10 nectar points so only spent 48p...:TChristmas 2020 £109

 I've only come on here to vent... .I love my job, I'm good at my job and I've been doing it for 25 years.... However over those years I have worked with many fine and lovely people but also some terrible numpties...
My current 'bosses' for want of a better description couldn't organise a *iss up in a brewery and really should not hold any such titles as 'Leader'... These are the worst group I have ever worked with/for, excluding my same level colleagues and it makes you go  with some of the ridiculous and stupid things they do and say..
Anyway, I'm sure it will all sort itself out......
Vent over.. for now anyway...Christmas 2020 £109

Morning Puzzcat,
Sorry you had a frustrating day yesterday. I can remember my old job (before children). I had LOTS of boss's and I was in charge of three girls. I felt like I spent most of my day appeasing boss's and dealing with drama's from the three girls. Must admit the nicest job I have EVER had was when I was an office manager, in a office on my own with no one elses drama to deal with.
Hope you are having a better day today. IT'S FRIDAY :T0
