Hi Puzz
All sounding v organised for the start or 2014! Great to hear that Apex were so helpful, its so nerve racking imagining talking to DCAs that its always good to hear when they are friendly! I've got a Halifax card too so if mine gets passed over too then I won't be quite as worried to call them!
Anyway, a bit of advice please. First off MBNA have agreed the payment and frozen interest and charges, good news. Halifax no interest this month and none showing for next month either plus no fees so fingers crossed with this one although no official confirmation of acceptance. Barclaycard don't know yet. BUT HSBC have rejected the payment offer. Letter from SC says don't worry just keep paying it and ignore them basically, it says they will probably default me and pass the debt on. Feel I should be writing to them - what letters did you send to all your creditors re asking them to accept the payment and freeze interest etc? Don't know if I'm brave enough to phone them about it!!!! You seem to have been pretty succesful with your letter writing?
Thanks Puzz any advice greatfully received!!!

Hi Puzzcat,
After you posted on my thread, I thought I would look you up and see if you also have a diary. So here I am.
I have read/skimmed through your posts since mid last year and it sounds like you are doing brilliantly.
We are over the hardest part (Christmas/New Year) now and can buckle down to getting through this.
I do desperately need to start find some Christmas & Birthday savings from somewhere. Heaven only knows where, but I do know that Christmas is my weakness, and I am no good and reigning my childrens presents in. So I at least need to save up as much as possible to lessen the pain in December.
Keep going and will be checking back in to see how you are doing xx0 -
Seriously can't wait for 1st Feb! Even more so the 25th when I will see who's actually accepting the payments!
I've been reading around a bit and it seems like HSBC can be a bit nasty and difficult so I'm not surprised they have rejected the offer - bet they'll cash the payment though - we'll wait and see!
On another good moneysaving note, just got my car insurance quote down by £200 - to under £200! Result.
And have cleared my outstanding family and work debts :j
Thanks for the reply over on the other board. Oh yeah, no I haven't done my own diary - don't know if I will or not - always busy so it'd probably fizzle out - I may just stick to gatecrashing other peoples!!

Hi SS, Thanks for coming to visit.. let me know next time and i'll get the  ready...!!
Schmalf, unfortunately I think you'll find you will only see the list of creditors with the payments made to them.. hence me not knowing who has and who hasn't agreed.. Do make sure you chase up statements and balances to check if interest is being charged.. I do have a letter for that if you need one...
