So another monday rolls round.... that HSxmastree.giffeeling is getting stronger.. the shops are now full of gifts and the christmas songs are playing.... love it.... did a bit more christmas shopping yesterday in town and also did my online orders, I don't like to be waiting at the last minute for things to arrive....

Busy weekend, friend round for dinner and plenty of HSchat.giffriday night, felt a bit rough saturday so opted to drive to my evening social event.... fireworks and chilli.. perfect.. of course the weekend wouldn't be the weekend without a certain amount of domestic goddess duties.. so people566.gif and HSiron.gif and a littleHS3vacuumsm.gif was completed....

I completed a freezer inventory and have the bases of 19 meals for me, which should cover the time OH is away and 13 bases for us when he returns so hope to get the freezer defrosted once i've consumed all my solo meals as it desperately needs doing and would be good to get it done before christmas...

Money news.. well not much really, just got a snotty letter and default notice from Halifax, they still appear to be ignoring the fact that i'm on a dmp, so will see what happens after payment goes out on 25th.. I have written to them 5 times now, (3 with cheques which they cashed..) so they are just numpties....HSlostmind.gif

One poll still creeping up, Ipsos I need about 2 more surveys to hit payout but i'm happy for that to roll over to start my christmas 2014 voucher fund....

Plans to Venice taking shape, even though mother is paying my mse head says we'll fly EJ, half the price of BA.. she is choosing the hotel which currently range in price from £400 to £1000... I will go with the flow....

Just discovered I am yet again the sole worker in my team this week... let's hope its a quiet one.....

Quick update for today.. received an email this morning to say I was expecting a delivery between 9 and 10 from Hotel Chocolat.. christmas bits I had ordered.. well luckily I was able to be in and at 9-30 a rather cross gentlemen arrived with a rather battered parcel... well on opening said parcel, one item was missing, one was slightly damaged and the box was stuck together with tape with the name of the delivery company on it. There were also 2 holes in the box, most of the stuffing was missing and it had obviously been in the wars..

So straight on the phone, no quibble at all.. they will send an entire replacement out next day delivery and refund my postage...:T So I get spares.... result.. well as long as this one arrives in good condition...

Other news.. up to £17.55 on one poll...

Last night I had a bath..bathtub.gif nothing unusual there you would say but this is my first bath in my new bathroom.. which went in, in April.... Don't panic I do HSsingshower.gif...:rotfl:

Tonight I have few jobs to complete and then will be chilling out over some fish fingers....think my cooking skills are going down hill.... and some rubbish girly tv....

    Quick post today..

Received my 'free' second delivery from Hotel Chocolat this morning all beautiful packaged. So I now have a spare advent calender and box of chocs worth £20...!!! Think i will find a suitable recipient for the chocs for christmas and will allow my dd to choose who gets given the posh advent calender.. She has one every year and I have always budgetted for christmas.. shame I never budgetted for anything else..:rotfl:

So have sent a very nice email to the company thanking them for the wonderful service and reminding them they promised to refund my delivery charge too....:D

My Oh rang this morning from OZ.. its raining.. aaah poor love at least he's not working in it like he would be here... He's still got another 20 days holiday.. greedy sod...!

No other news, mother over for dinner tomorrow, will no doubt discuss more venice plans.....

Tonight I am going to clean my fridge/s... get me.. I do live an exciting life...!:D

    One poll up to £19.25....

    Quidco payout of £8.40......

Just found out i'm leading a big operation next week.. short notice and nothing i've led before so will definately keep me busy.... !!!

Grocery shopping done, I've taken advantage of lovely sainsburys giving me a £9 off £60 spend and cashed in my nectar points so even though i'm catering and 'wining' my 6 girlies this weekend I still came in well under budget.. :T

Right off to do some work, school run then shepherds pie to cook for mother....

    Hi Schmalf,

I just told SC when I wanted it to start, I had some repairs I needed doing on my car and they were quite happy with that. Some of my creditors haven't received a proper payment since the end of August and my dmp payment goes out on the 25th of this month. So all 9 of mine have had 3 months of £1 payments, hardly any moaning, a few calls and I explained about the dmp. I do send a letter each time with the payment and made sure I sent one within each statement period.

Hope this helps, please come back and ask more if you would like to.

We are looking at Venice in May so shouldn't be too busy. My mother has been many times so i'm leaving it all to her particularly as she is also paying...:D

Hi Puzz thanks a lot for the info, sorry I have been a while to respond, a few things going on has meant not much time spent online!! That's good as I think I will end up too with 3 months of £1's. I've been a bit rubbish actually as i've been ignoring calls from the creditors, will have to answer some soon just to clarify what's going on - although I am still only in month 1 of £1 payments so its hardly a disaster for them!! Unplugged my house phone (never use it anyway), so its a lot easier to avoid them just on the mobile!! Even though they keep rining and sending letters, I already just can't beleive what a releif it's been this month to be able to pay for stuff I've needed to get sorted for ages - sick of having the rest of my life on hold to satisfy them!! It's so liberating to be able to pay my car tax, some insurance etc with actual money not credit - it makes me really not care too much about any hassle I have along the line - this is how it just has to be!!! Hope alls well with you, Schmalf.x
