 Where did the last 10 days go......

Oh Puzz I can so relate to that statement....except for me it would be where did the last 4 months go

I can also relate to feeling flat. I've been feeling that way since I transferred into my new job in April. Still looking for another job though.

Take care and keep smiling lovely Puzz -x-

    :j Happy Sunday...

Thank you for all your lovely messages and you'll be pleased to know that since early Tuesday morning I have rediscovered my :D..

Thank you Noah for dd's birthday message, we had a good time and I am now the proud owner of an 18 year old... How did that happen....!!!

So good night out with the girls last Saturday, felt really ill during the day so spent the afternoon in bed but perked up when out and had a good time. Sunday running around sorting dd's birthday bits.. then work stuff.. then Tuesday hit by terrible gloom in the early hours but then managed to put my back out at 8.15 moving things in OH's fish tank.. so I had a day sitting upright and not moving much.. the upside is my gloom disappeared in time for dd's birthday... so bbq with family and then a day up in town with lunch and the ballet.. lots of pressies and dd is seriously loaded now...!

Today she is off to a friends for the afternoon and I am off to replace the kettle that broke last sunday... I have been using a pan all week and it has been no trouble but OH is like, why haven't you replaced it yet.... a pan is obviously too complicated for him....:rotfl:

Bedding is in the wash ready to go on the line shortly.. love a fresh bed me..

My veggies are doing well, I have had one crop of peas and runner beans.. seem to have loads of tomatoes they are just beginning to change colour.. I am oddly fascinated with the whole process... the peas excited me most.. never grown peas...popping pods.. hope to get another crop in a few weeks.... runners doing well after I set up a netted trap for the snails they have actually been able to grow without being munched...!

Busy work week planned as I have been very lax this month.. must do better in August.. and its only a 4 day week for me as Puzz has yet another birthday on Friday... think I may stop having them soon....

    Have a good weekend all..

    Puzz. x

Glad you found your mojo. My garden discovery this year is mangetout - amazing - they just keep coming! Sounds like your toms are ahead of ours - some of ours just setting now, so hoping we get enough sun in Aug to turn them more than green. Eating home grown is definitely good for the soul. Have a very happy birthday.

Glad you're so much brighter now, Puzz:j. Long may it continue:beer:

I'm very envious of your veg success. Our runner beans are looking very sickly at the moment. Just 7 beans in total so far (that's over all 24 plants:eek:), and even they're still not ready to pick:(. Not many flowers either as yet, we are usually swamped by runner beans, one of the few crops that never fail in our horrible heavy clay soil. Can't understand what went wrong, we planted them out at the normal time and in the usual way.

Tomatoes are doing OK but there isn't too much to go wrong with them as they are in growbags in the greenhouse.

Have never tried growing peas. Will try next year now you've mentioned them;)

Nice to see our usual happy Puzz back :)

I tried growing vegetables - just once - total disaster. I nowbuy them instead. I don't know what I did wrong, but hardly anything grew and what did was awful. Well done to you for doing so well with you veg.

I do remember as a child my dad grew peas - they never, ever made it to the house as 'us kids' used to steal them as they grew and eat them straight from the pod. They were absolutely gorgeous :)
