    Happy Weekend....

Now I should be rushing around pushing a hoover, but do you know what.. I can't be bothered.... I will do it tomorrow..!

I am on my third load of washing and have been out and done 1 1/2 hours overtime this morning mind... and will shortly go clean the bathroom and kitchen....

I have received a letter from the lovely Natw*st today in response to my complaint about them not updating my credit file for my loan account for 8 months... big apologies and a cheque for £100 for my upset..:rotfl: Will spend some more time digging around in case anyone else has done/doing anything wrong... I love the fact that the tables have turned and I feel so much more in control now.. and I have always loved a good complaint letter...

I am having a little battle on behalf of my oh with a well known car accessory shop... They have now suggested I go to the retail ombudsman as they won't/can't resolve it and his vehicle is now damaged to the tune of £1700......I think I might actually.. well for the price of a stamp its a shame not too..... another job for this afternoon...

Christmas...:D.. I am now in receipt of £71 of vouchers... that was the total sum I had by Christmas last year and its only June....:T

dd now 2 exams down and 3 to go..... she's reasonably confident about the one's she's taken.. roll on August when we find out...!!

    That's about it for today..

    Happy Tuesday...

These weeks are still flying by and we are now in our last week of exams..:T and school runs... :T ... dd has one left to do on Thursday.. can't wait for it to be over, nor can she...! She's now come down with a cold and even managed to faint on Sunday morning so stress levels are high in the Puzz household...

No money news.. finally paid in the £100 cheque from Natw*st after my complaint to them.. will be stashing this into the dd's uni fund.. that will give me 3 months worth of top up accommodation costs and I will then be nearing the end of lovely mother loan so will have to use that I suspect. Shame as I was hoping to pay down the dmp, but we shall wait and see.. of course dd has to get the grades first and want to go this year...!!!

All a bit dull really.. much like the weather...!

    Onwards and upwards...

    Grrr...

Went out to vote before breakfast.. got wet...:(

Then went to take dd to school..last day, last exam.. and traffic everywhere... took us 30 minutes to go 1.5 miles.... and she was late... luckily exam not until 2pm... first late ever.. and on her last day... hopefully ever..! oh well i'm sure she will be forgiven as the roads around here were gridlocked... and what can they do....!

So 4pm today.... :T:T:T:T we can relax until 22 August....

Off into the office soon as I have a meeting, hoping the roads have now all cleared...

No money news.. still plodding on ...

    Happy Sunday....

So dd now finished exams and school and nothing planned until September....we are keeping an eye out for any part time work but in reality she will (hopefully) be heading off to uni in about 10 weeks so its not urgent...

Had her leavers do on Friday night.. She was a little tipsy when I picked her up which was sweet and she had a really good time.. considering she wasn't going it was a last minute change of mind.. did mean mum taxi was out at midnight.. I don't do late nights.... but hey we survived and I am glad she went...

    Money news..

Have got overtime to claim but won't get paid any this month as they have been mucking about with % as in time or time and a half... settled on time and a half so I have some back claims to put in and did some more yesterday.. should be a nice pay packet in July anyway....

    One Poll slow.. £6.30...
Nectar up to £149.. will be used to buy 'stuff' for dd for uni..
Shop n Scan £50.. will turn into Amazon vouchers may help with uni books if needed or will be used for Christmas..

Have got just short of £600 in dd's help for accommodation pot now...

Had a letter from Natw*st to say they have passed my cc to Westcot.. so that's 4 cc debts now with dca's.... Nothing much else to report on dmp land.. until next week when the next payment heads off...

I am currently re-reading my own diary, it is very therapeutic to see how far I have come on this journey..

Happy Sunday all, I am having a chilling day..

  • Can I suggest that you concentrate on running down the freezer? I found that when my parasites went to uni etc I wAs left with stuff that only they would eat or with things that were poorly sized for those left behind. To make things worse, in advance of them coming home, I would stock up on their favourites despite what may have been in the freezer.

Lucky for me I have a very unfussy OH so he will be fed any leftovers when dd goes off to uni..
