Lucky DD:j. I don't know about you but when I did 'A' levels back in the dark ages:o we had to carry on going into school (and still wear full uniform:mad:) until the whole school broke up on the last day of term. It was a pretty pointless time as we weren't allowed to just 'chill' and our teachers were trying to actually teach us new stuff:rotfl:. Not all bad though as the French teacher (I did 'A' level French) started teaching us some German for a few weeks instead and it was pretty useful.0 -

Although I will probably be about 94 by then if they keep upping the retirement age.. at least I will be able to travel with saga..:rotfl:

Happy Thursday..
So I am still re-reading my diary.. blimey I waffle...! but nearly at the end now.. loving having it to read back on..
Been paid but no overtime this month as claim was too late to go through, does mean I will get a nice fat wage next month though..:T
Done all my banking and was left with the sum of £41 in credit and I changed my mortgage this month so that was another £25 still don't seem to have much spare mind...!!
Will pay lovely mother so that will take the debt down to £1300... slowly slowly getting there....
RBS have also passed me to westcot... no one likes poor puzz anymore.....
Next payment goes to creditors on 3rd.. did get a snotty letter from Cap one saying I hadn't paid and to phone them.. so I did and then they wished I hadn't rung and couldn't get me off the phone fast enough..:rotfl: They should read the letters that are sent to them, not just scan them onto the system and ignore the content...
dd still enjoying lazing around...oh gone off to pick up his son who finishes uni.. big drama last night as it is his graduation tomorrow but he isn't graduating.. not sure of the ins and outs.....
No big plans for the weekend, think I will have a break from overtime unless I really need to see anyone, will visit my nieces and have best friend over for wine and nachos Saturday night. Taking dd out for lunch tomorrow.. to the cafeand need to get started on sorting her birthday presents out.. she has done me some wish lists on her favorite websites...
Right best get on...

That's a nice happy and upbeat post, Puzz:beer:. Well, all except the snails that is. My runner beans look as if a plague of locusts has hit them, I doubt we'll have any success at all this year:mad:. It's my favourite veg, we grow loads every year to fill the freezer.
OH has spent a small fortune on slug pellets this year as well (we don't normally use them because of fears for our cat who will eat anything and everything:eek:) but for every dead slug we've found there seems to be about ten others to take its place:mad:0 -

 Where did the last 10 days go......
Puzz not been up to much really.. did an hours overtime last saturday and may be doing a little this weekend... Have had a very unproductive week so far... lazy puzz.. I just feel a little flat and can't seem to get my **se into gear. must do better next week...
Money news..
None of any interest... Have received letters from wescot and need to ring them but obviously dd is at home nearly all the time so will have to wait...
Still haven't got much further with dd's birthday.. have bought a card and received nearly all the gifts I ordered online.. will pick up some 'surprise' bits when I am in town at the weekend..
Bit social this weekend coming.. neighbour over tomorrow evening for a few glasses of vino and then off out with my girls Saturday eve for a meal.. so £££'s going out....
All a little dull in the world of puzz, that's probably why I feel flat.....and fat.... plus holiday season and none planned until November with lovely mother, not that I could parade this body round in less clothes at the moment....
And my house is falling down.. literally.. the wall next to the computer is crumbling.. I have given OH the firm chat that he is not having any more holidays until he gets this fixed, especially as he says he can do it but has so much building on that our house has to wait.. well it can't wait for ever or I'll have no wall left..:rotfl:
Right going to be productive and do something.. not sure what.. but something...

I'm sorry that you're feeling flat, Puzz. I think it's the time of year with things winding down for the summer. I hope you'll feel your usual lively self soon. Maybe the girls' night out and the vino with neighbours will do the trick;)
I feel pretty optimistic at the moment as my old car (2002 vintage) passed its MOT yesterday and didn't have any things brought to my attention that should be dealt with soon:j. No outlay on the car due for some time then (fingers crossed:)). Makes a very pleasant change.
A few weeks ago I sent for all my info from M&S Bank on all the financial products I'd had with them. I seem to have had so many loans and things over the years since about 1987:o. and I couldn't recall whether I ever had PPI or not. They sent me a massive pack of printouts which didn't make me any the wiser:eek:. In my usual ostrich fashion I decided to give it my undivided attention 'sometime'. It's still there waiting:o
I was very pleasantly surprised that today I received a letter from them with a summary page of all the financial products I ever had with them and showing whether I had PPI on them. It turns out there were 2, although no dates are given and I can't remember for the life of me when I had them:o. The letter also said that if I felt the PPI was missold I should contact them. I'd never mentioned PPI in my original communications with them so they obviously think there might be cause for a claim. I was worried that the PPI might be too far back in the mists of time to qualify for a claim.
It's worth having a go at a reclaim so I'm going to get on with the paperwork tonight. A refund, however small, would be very welcome:j
Enjoy the sunshine if you're lucky enough to be having any. I felt fat myself today (when don't I?:rotfl:) and wore a jacket instead of going bare-armed and ended up nearly stifling in the heat.0
