Are you talking about the person who did not want to give up their seat? What on earth do you think the tram company are going to do and why would the police be interested? Some people really do live in cloud cuckoo land:rotfl:

Someone else could well need and be using the disabled bay she is smoking in, in which case the disabled person could phone, text the driver to pick them up at the building entrance.
Can you show me the exact rules which back up what you are posting?
Because this official publications says otherwise. I think you need to do some research before hectoring people with your acusatory snarky posts Farnsworth.
https://www.direct.gov.uk/prod_consum_dg/groups/dg_digitalassets/@dg/@en/@disabled/documents/digitalasset/dg_186198.pdfYou should not use the badge to allow non-disabled people to take advantage of the benefits while you sit in the car. Although it is not illegal for a badge holder, or a non-disabled person waiting for the badge holder to return, to remain in the vehicle while the Blue Badge is displayed, consideration should be given to using a car park whenever possible. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. I still think it goes completely against the whole ethos of the BB and the provision of specific disabled parking bays for a non disabled driver to hog a disabled bay having a smoke. No wonder people get challenged.0

You would then be a thug and a criminal, a private person does not need your permission to photograph you in a public place. If the police were not interested in you before they would be then. Malicious damage to property and possibly a crime against the person of some kind on your record - is that an ambition of yours? The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. But they are waiting for the badge holder, while they do it dosn't matter a jot whether they read, practice underwater melodian playing, learn the bagpipes, smoke, eat, or drink they are still waiting. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

You really are being ridiculous. So you would be happy for a stranger to take your photo in order to forward it to the police accusing you of not giving up your seat on public transport. I did say the phone would 'accidentally' be trodden on. I can't help it if I have big clumsy feet on a crowded bus.0 -

someone photographs me I would either put my hand over my face, hold my book in front of my face, turn away, smile or stick my tongue out. I wouldn't go lumbering about like a daftie vandalising someone else's property and engaging in behaviour that is at least a breach of the peace. Whether I am happy or not is nothing to do with it, it's not ilegal and violence is totaly inapropriate in the situation.

Ah but his standards are double. I'm rude but he's not......
BTW, the college car park was full, but half a dozen disabled spaces laying empty. Would you have preferred if I had exited my car and went and stood outside to have a smoke? Why would that have made any difference? The disabled space was being used to give my dd easier access to the college, after all that's what they are there for.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

You are the one complaining about being asked about your use of disabled parking bays and how dare people question you, even if you are just sat there having a fag with the disabled person nowhere in sight.
How does anyone know that you have a disabled person with you and they are not sat at home in front of the fire while you use the BB to secure free/better parking spots?0 -

It has made such a difference to my life. I can go and get my own newspaper, get down to the doctors or to my local supermarket. I was completely housebound before unless I used cabs.
although physically able, i cannot go to the doctors/supermarket/for a paper ( bit pointless as i cant read a paper ;)0....
yet people unable to walk without 'aids' 9crutches, wheelchairs, mobility scooters) have said that i shouldnt receive mobility benefits because i am 'only blind'
my now deceased mother in law had COPD to the point where she was almost unable to take a step. she was permanently on oxygen and even struggled to eat through shortness of breath ....
but she used to take me shopping because once she was in her scooter, i was more disable than she0
