after another hospital stay and several emails back and forth i finally got a phone call from Tesco customer services who then got a manager from Tesco to call me. The lady i spoke to was very apologetic for the lack of contact from the store and asked me what would be needed to make it up to me. I said just an apology and thanks for my partner going out of his way to inform the store of the error to stop the cookies being sold to anyone else who was allergic.
They offered us a bottle of wine or a bunch of flowers and again apologised and ive noticed that in the last week Tesco have now altered the boxes that their gluten and wheat free cookies come in which to me is a great outcome.
As for the comments regarding Ilkeston it doesnt matter where you are born or where you live you can still come across as ignorant and disfunctional lol
