Tesco shelf stacking error in free from section

The OP said there was a number of the item there, not just one or two, and this was the following day so it is unlikely to have been a customer putting it there.
Things being filled into the free from section by accident happens all the time. The biscuits come on the same delivery cage as the normal biscuits and the cases look similar so easy mistake to make when rushing.
that maybe be true for this case. But the fact that customers often put stuff back in the wrong places gives you more reason to check the products first and not simply assume because its on a certain shelf.
it happens all the time with discounted stuff as well, customers dump stuff on the discount shelf after they found something else then the new customer assumes that its discounted0 -
In future, stick to Pink Panther waifers, they are Gluten Free!0

I think it's 50/50 in this case. Anybody shopping specifically for somebody with an intolerance should read the ingredients list just in case. After all, gluten free isn't the same as what free since it's found in more than one thing. It might be marked as containing gluten but only because it's made in the same factory as something else. I'd be fine with that level of contamination but not everyone is.
On the other hand, we have the Ilkeston, Hucknall and Alfreton Tescos near us and Tesco are no angels themselves. We've found all sorts in the Free From section, from the wrong items to GF items so out of date they've gone a lovely slimy green. I've never seen anything like that in the rest of the store so why can't they keep track of the Free From section?'til the end of the line0 -

Tesco's shelf stacker put them on the wrong shelf and your other half didn't double check before buying.
Human error ?
Have you been to Ilkeston ? It has one of the shallowest gene pools in Western Europe.0 -

LOL, I am from Ilkeston (originally). Luckily my parents made the wise decision to move when I was 4.0 -

If its medically important not to eat something, I would read the ingredient label very carefully!!0

I agree the free from does not stand out like a sore thumb as its uses the same colours.0 -

Friend of mine originally came from Ilkeston, of all the sixth formers in our year who went to uni, he was the only one accepted by Cambridge, and he graduated with a very respectable degree. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
