Today i have done breakfast and Sunday lunch, did dishes and folded some clothes.

Am not doing a great deal of anything today my head is still painful if its still like this on monday i will ring my neuro consultant but i just know he will want me to have a lumbar puncture which will leave me out of action for a week and its DD birthday on Thursday she will be 5 :D. So i think i will just leave it till Friday and see how i feel.
  • Soothing vibes to those feeling poorly.

    I was 24 hours out in my prediction but;

    DD: we need more food
Me: go and get some then
    DD: me?
    Me: yes, you

    That was 3 hours ago...

Minimal flying today, hair dyed (re-growth & grey decluttered) & lots of books in piles in the LR to be listed, reorganised & put back tidily. I'm not busting a gut today am I :rotfl:

Aww mrs mp I remember about your poor little niece (hugs)

Not a lot happening here. Kids are playing elefun in the now empty conservatory. Lots of squealing going on. I've sifted through a huge pile of "artwork" and kept a couple of "masterpieces" and recycled the rest. Also edited the craft drawers for when everything is re homed.

    Next stop: ironing board

DS's room is really, really tidy.

I might get used to this...

what with shopping (ie biscuits etc) still being in the cupboard within an hour or two of being put there...

He has two lovely girls sharing his flat and there is another young man, The other young man doesn't seem to be mixing; unfortunately. One of the girls is Welsh - I'm a sucker for a Welsh accent!

Been to the picnic, I don't really like those sorts of things but it seemed rude not to go. Did chat to a really nice Mum and we exchanged phone numbers.

Had a humdinger of a row with DS1 before I went out, Valli I envy you with your son living away for a while.

Going to tidy the kitchen and make a quick apple crumble and see when my friend is coming around.

Walked to the DIY store this morning which is a 50 minute trip there and back. The condensing pipe is leaking on the boiler. My attempt at repair not working.

    Came back and HHG done
    Towels washed
    Dailies done
    Cats stuff done.

    So for this week.

    Living room -done
    Bathroom-done
    Kitchen-done
Bedroom not bad so will tackle that next week.

Even though I wasn't on the thread I still remembered Flylady ways.
Chilling now as my hip and back are sore.
  • Hi everyone,

Well been a hectic few days, and although not posting I have been trying to keep up!

DD1 now back at uni, going into her 2nd year, nice little house she has, is sharing with 3 friends and when we left her it looked all bonny:D wonder how long that will last;)

So house looking better with all her stuff gone, beautiful day here so all washing on the line, DS bedroom done, trip to Morrison's for essentials done, pasta to do for tea and then I think I'll call it a day.

    See you soon x
