At least you get some notice, I go to bed sometimes to find a 10 yo lump in mine fast asleep! If he's in there before he goes to sleep we have a list of rules:

    1 no trumping
    2 no fidgeting
3 stay on your side of the bed
    4 go straight to sleep

Most of the time this works but I do need to add 5 don't pinch all the covers, which he then throws off in the night and grabs back first thing in the morning!

Christmas file underway.. I have found myself a whole list of other stuff to wash and make and do and build before winter turns my house into tundra. I aim to make a start on that and update my Toots list today.

I want to finish the back of Squeaks nursery cardigan today.

    DW has been loaded

DD1 can vacuum the stairs and wipe down the worksurfaces in the kitchen .. I struggle with one and hate doing the other :p

I wonder if DS2 is capable of mincing grass...hmmmm... dyspraxia vs the lawn mower...

Off to run a bath for the small pinks and get their clothes/towels out and I will hang out the laundry while OH baths them both.. I was putting the baby in too but she is snoring so she can go in the kitchen sink when she wakes up.

curtains are coming down to be washed in 2 rooms cos they pong..

    HHC anyone? 10:30-11??

No bikes at the car boot sale. Never mind...

Gave the kids £3 each DS wanted to buy everything he saw but eventually spent £10 albeit after granny sold his baby piano and ninky nonk, so he did have £5 extra. Still in debt though :p He did manage to get a fire engine, a Thomas take and play set with half a dozen engines and a hot wheels mega garage with 6 cars, so he has done well for his money.

DD god love her has brought 50p home for her piggy bank, and has a Snow White doll and a (another) baby.

    I got a sausage butty ;)

So this afternoon, I will do the ironing, empty the narrow bookshelf in conservatory, getting bags ready for school / nursery and moving the craft drawers. Every time I turn around *someone* has strewn pencils all over the place...

  • just dragged out puter table and decluttered a load of ants that had decided to come up under there.

bitter/sweet day yesterday went to my nieces 2nd birthday party, had to go first to take a gift and light a candle on her twin sisters grave which was really sad.
then took mil out for a drink as it was also her birthday. so no flying done yesterday but a bit of knitting once we got home while everyone watched a film.

running dyson round rest of downstairs now then going to enpty it in the compost bin incase any of the ants decide to excape.
DD2 is doing a carboot today so going to do late dinner once shes packed up and comes round.

hugs to all that need them
