rosyq how long have you been doing the 5:2 diet? Your weight loss is impressive. Do you find it workable with normal life? Thx x*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0

Evening - just caught up with the thread and wanted to send hugs to everyone.
Need to go to Mr T first thing and then cook some meals to freeze for the week. Might then dare to look at what's left on the listtoday I 'taught' reception.
one child - just one - had
two seperate headbumps AND was 'bitten' (his words) - by 'a bee'.
He has clearly been stung by a wasp as his tiny hand was swollen...
as all this was being passed to his daddy he ran away from him and almost got over the playground wall...a very fit teacher (;)) ran and 'caught' him...
Sounds like a normal day to me! I've had to sprint after children twice today as well as dealing with 2 lots of wet trousers (rainwater and milk!), a bumped cheek, 2 tantrums, one stroppy moo and all the other usual stuff.

Thank you ladies, I've given my hair a deep condition tonight (which it desperately needed) so I've tied it back to dry; I'm hoping it might come out straight on the top with a bit of wave, a la Lizzie Taylor:
but knowing my luck it'll end up more like this:
I'm going to have to do my brows Taylor style tomorrow now too!0 -
Fizz.. I'd go curly.. like ringletty rather than straight.. but my hair doesn't DO straight so I'm probably biased

Hi I've had to stop for now cos I lost too much! :rotfl:
I lost the stone & 4lb over about 10 weeks, Jun -Aug. That was 'fasting' 2 days a week, losing 1-2lb a week. I'm lucky, I didn't need to lose much and I'm down to 8st 5
I dropped to 'fasting' once a week to maintain the weight loss which was fine till I got ill and lost more
I found it pretty easy sticking to 500 cals on fast days after the first few weeks.
Like most other people I kept busy while fasting which helps, and drank lots of water to keep the hunger pangs at bay.
There's a 5:2 thread here:

I hope that link works!
Rx
Ps workable? - absolutely; pick any 2 days a week to fit round other commitments, change them if you need to, stick to the 500 cals over 1 or 2 meals. Include everything you eat or drink in yr allowance. Forget about it for the other 5 days and eat whatever you want. Some people fret and make it complicated but it really isn't!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
