Hi all. I have had a couple of week off since my visitors so need to get cracking this weekend. Will do all the 30 minute jobs tonight and tomorrow except in master bedroom as I'm getting a new carpet week after next so room will be totally emptied (and therefor tidied) for that! Hope everyone is well and will read back in between all the flying!!!!!

Hugs for Deco and your friend, CY and CY's mum, Miaww - it sounds as though you could do with a nap to re-establish your equilibrium.
No, Bonnie, I didn't take a pic of Mrs Dog in (previous) Dog's jacket. Dog used to dislike, resent, shy away at anything new and become unco-operative at every intervention, but she got used to some things eventually, although not much. Mrs Dog, on the other hand, when I got the jacket out just stood there while I put it on and trotted out quite happily. She looked very smart. Pix to follow - eventually.
I've got the BM and the WM going, another load of Windfall Pear Chutters on the go, cleared some paperwork and am waiting for a Royal Navy parade to pass by before I go out and about with Mrs Dog. I need to visit the chalet and take her for a run on the beach, feed her and then go to the library, Lid1 and Morribunds, the tip, the foodbank and drop off a couple of cards.Better is good enough.0 -
personal challenge update -Have just listed another 6 items in my fleabay shop
so I now have a total of 19 items listed albeit in variations
Had my first order, made a profit of a whopping 49p! Well less than that because of other fees for the shop. Must list more, more I list the more I can sell and I might make some profit. Otherwise it's not worth my walk to the postbox

PS how do you folks manage with full-time work and flying? Do you ever get to sit down? I'm exhausted trying to keep up!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
My HHP took a bit longer because we had to move furniture (again!) so that the carpenter could put up the rail in the kitchen. He is now doing the same in all the rest of the downstairs rooms, so I could get curtains up in the DR before DGD1's birthday party on Tuesday
On the other hand, they'll only get dusty if I do...
I then managed to trim all the papers that need mounting.
DH is looking for AA batteries, and I think that I shall need some more glue, so I might send him to the local shops.
Mustn't forget to make soup later  Will go and get the squashes and sweet potatoes out now, to remind me.0 -
