  • After a good deal of teeth gnashing someone somewhere has got their backside in gear and DH is on his way to ortho clinic this morning.

Receptionist rang me and I gave her DH's work number.

'Is it alright to phone him at work?'
'Yes' I replied. 'He's desperate to hear from you.'
'Will he be able to come to clinic this morning?' she asked

2 minutes later DH rang, from his mobile, on the way to clinic!

    Result!

    Morning all

CY thinking of you and of your Mum and sister

    Miaow hugs

Bonnie find out the daily gold rate before you go. When they give the price ask for the weight and see how far out they are.

Deco hugs for you and your friend

Friend has text and op went well and pain is being managed. Going to see her this afternoon.

What she said! I'm terrible - I remember what problems people have but forget who said what. I'm so sorry!

Today I have started my day by cleaning up dog poo which I brought in last night on my mules after I nipped round to my friend's next door via our front lawn. I left my sandals on the doormat and the kids managed to move them and get poo on DS sock and trouser leg and the hall floor. :eek:Fortunately the floor is wooden and DS had spare trousers but wasn't the best start to the day. Cleaned it off grass and re mopped floors. I've only just had my breakfast as I couldn't face it:eek:

    Other than that I have
WM x1 hung out plus the other two loads from last night
    Dw on
    kitchen s&s
    hoovered downstairs

Didn't do that food shopping yesterday so off to Alllll di.

  • Hi, just jumping in for the day as I have a day off work, but as we all know a day off usually means a day of flying and decluttering rather than chilling out on the sofa!

Apologies for not knowing how everyone is and where everyone is up to - now I work most days and have just gone back to college too I just don't get the chance to log on other than occasionally, but I need some motivation to get as much done as possible as I have a busy weekend ahead.

Bathroom first so HHC starting at 10.30 anyone?

I have LOADS of Psychology textbooks from the first 2 years at uni - some are unused and all are in good condition so if anyone knows a student looking for cheap books then I'm your person! I seem to remember the reading lists come out very late so maybe I haven't missed the boat this year. I'd rather they went to someone I 'know' iyswim. They were bought 3-4 yrs ago - I was a 'mature' student. LOL.

    HHC 11.15 - 11.45 anyone?

I'm on catchup today as I was in the office all of yesterday then ended up getting stopped on the motorway by a priority 1 work issue, cue having to stop at the services and using the lappy, so took me 2hrs to get home. Then I had to work until around 11pm when the issue was finally resolved (think of the money).

The nursery is our spare room so I'll give the windowsill in there a once over and clean the window, nothing else to do in there though as there's noone in there yet and we don't have the chest of drawers for the baby's things yet.

If it's gone it's done :) (really pleased I'm getting more and more done each week)
