Receptionist rang me and I gave her DH's work number.
'Is it alright to phone him at work?'
'Yes' I replied. 'He's desperate to hear from you.'
'Will he be able to come to clinic this morning?' she asked
2 minutes later DH rang, from his mobile, on the way to clinic!
Result!
That's great, CY!! So pleased for your DH - hnow let's hope he gets the treatment he needs asap. In my experience, once you get to the clinic it's all fairly quick: it's that first stage that seems to take forever.
(((Hugs))) and GWS vibes to you. Thinking of you, your mum and your sister today - hope your sister's plan works out.
Somewhere in this HoD (= House of Doom) I have lost an A1 size plastic wallet containing sheets of coloured art card. I know I saw it in the garage a few weeks ago - I thought I had brought it upstairs because it belongs to my work stuff, and there aren't many places to hide it here. But do you think we can find it?!?!? Very frustrating
I shall just have to get round the problem of mounting large notices on A4 cards joined; perhaps wide sellotape on the back will do the trick.
Decluttered a lot of my overgrown mop of hair earlier. When I moved to my previous home town it took me 6 months to find a hairdresser. This time I've done it in one, and the salon is just a quarter of a mile from our house

All customers delivered to now (except the one who can't pay until next week), and I am surrounded by paperwork trying to work out who isn't getting a book (Abusive/empty/student/bad customers I've dropped don't get one). Bad news is, after checking, I do need to put those slips in. So I'm sorting out my lists of addresses then when I pull the books out to put the slips in I'll put a newsletter in as well, seal the bags ready to go and put them out.
I knew it was going to be busy today so I went to the shop and bought microwave meals for tonight, at least its better than getting take-out again, kind ofAs I was walking past the 'bit' shop I spotted they had new bits, so I went in and managed to get 2 new throw cushions with covers for £2
I'll get them in the wash later. But first, I need to try and find my out of date spreadsheet and some forms from this time last year so I can get my lists done.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
