    Knee is still playing up

Me too :o nurse told me to get ibuprofen gel, so I have been rubbing "deep relief" :p on 3 times a day and it is improving.

DS away to school, stopped in at the nursery, lady is keeping a place for us Mon - Wed from January :T she will confirm next month then book a home visit and settling in visits. :D

DD has toys all over LR floor, and I've just put a wash on. FIL just called, they are about to leave for the airport and he wanted to tell me "if we don't come home we have new lottery tickets in the kitchen drawer and all our paperwork is in a box under the bed with <my name> on it" :rotfl: bless, they do this every time they go on holiday - three times a year at least! Usually MIL will say "and don't throw out my grubby necklace, its actually diamonds" :rotfl:

I always reply "yes ok and I'll see you both in two weeks". Bless 'em.

Right. More clearing in kitchen to do then we'll make a start on the garage

Hi everyone. Didn't manage to post yesterday as I was so busy. We were supposed to have someone round to view the flat at 3pm, so on Tuesday night we were cleaning, on Wednesday morning I was cleaning, I went to my bump group lunch then left early to put the finishing touches to the flat to make it look show home worthy... and the viewer didn't turn up! Grrrrr - really pee'd off at the letting agency as they didn't ring to cancel - I had to chase them up. Anyway, we apparently have another viewing on Saturday, so it shouldn't take too much to keep the flat looking good until then.

My list has now grown. I was up half the night and was mentally adding things to it, so will have to work my way through it slowly. I'm not planning on much flying today, as the flat is looking pretty good at the moment, but I do have loads of house move/adminie type bits to do.
    • Go through larder and meal plan what can be used up - also use up all freezer food before vinyl fitter comes
    • [STRIKE]Wash maternity pillow and baby slings - put away[/STRIKE]

    • Queries to developer re home insurance
    • Queries to developer re space in the kitchen for new appliances
    • Buy home insurance
    • Send insurance details to solicitor
    • Chase up solicitor how she wants payment/money for final deposit
    • Look at car insurance - can this be reduced (due the day before we move)
    • Confirm moving date with moving company
    • Emails both sets of friends who have offered to help with the move and say "yes"!
    • Clear out utility room cupboard and chuck anything that we won't be taking.
    • Clear out other utility room cupboard and also chuck anything that we won't be taking.
    • Eb@y the few bits remaining that are worthy of it.
    • Choose/buy appliances and book in delivery/fitting at new house
    • [STRIKE]Book in vinyl floor fitting man for next week[/STRIKE]

    • [STRIKE]Speak to developers and solicitors - hope to fix completion date on the house[/STRIKE]

Can I just say that this reminds me of the time I found a dead and slightly mummified mouse in the electricity cupboard of my old house when we were moving out:eek: I was there on my own at the time, and had to get one of my next door neighbours (who I didn't know) to remove it! I hope I don't find anything similar today :)

  • Just sat down with first coffee of the day.
Clothes, cups and cats brought down.
Spider delayed DD3 this morning as she wouldn't walk past it on the landing. Spider decluttered.
Kids fed and decluttered to school
Will change beds tomorrow as I think it will be fine enough to get them outside. Bedrooms were Henried when I did landing and stairs.
WM fed and emptied. Creel emptied and reloaded. Clothes put away. Tea sorted and fridge cleaned out due to a paper bag freezing to the back of it and going yucky.
Fire alarm works as teenage son tests it everytime he has a shower :)
Didn't get sock turn done yesterday so will try and tackle it today.
Hugs and spoons to anyone who needs them. Chocolate to anyone who doesn't do hugs and spoons. Thoughts are with Dusty and her friend and Poppy and her family.xxx
