I wear silver now (or white gold, if someone buys it for me) and I have gold stuff from XH which I'll never wear again and DD doesn't want. Every little helps
Great idea but try and get a couple of prices. I was getting rid of my old wedding, engagement and eternity rings and took them to a jewellers in Leamington Spa, he offered me £75. I took them to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham and got £180  and that was purely for scrap value, diamonds were too small and the gold was 9ct so they wouldn't resell as while pieces. I joked I shouldn't have married a cheapskate first time around, he laughed and asked to see my new engagement ring from DH and said, "yeah, he really loves you" :rotfl:0

TBH, I wish we could stay with Virgin, but where we're moving to doesn't have the infrastructure yet! So we're a new customer and will have to work out how to get it installed alongside a phone line, hopefully without waiting too long!
BF proves handy sometimes, he says a new build should have a landline installed, just need to arrange it to be set up. As there is no one leaving the house there shouldn't be a wait to get an engineer out to fit the sky if you give them notice. When there's someone leaving you can't set up an account on the address until theirs is cancelled and then it's a weight after that to get an appointment but you'll not have to worry about that x 0 x 0

Tonight I want to use up some more bits from the freezer (as we have to unplug it and get it out of the kitchen to have new flooring fitted next Monday) and finish sorting out my money, as it has got slightly out of control. I have a very complicated and convoluted spreadsheet to keep control of my money and account for every penny. I've not keep up to date over the past few days and have made quite a lot of (budgeted for) purchases, so it needs to be sorted out fast!
