    • Valli - good on DS for asking his dad outright! - You've raised them well!

You will miss DS, as will DD, but you will cope! Honestly!

A colleague's daughter went to Newcastle 10 days ago and came home at the weekend. Dreadfully homesick - likes the place, the course and the people, but cannot cope with going into her own room at the end of the day. She is having a hard think about it - whether to stay or try and transfer/defer till next year.

DS dropped in last night so I had chance to tell him about his gran. He was shocked. This doesn't get any easier.

I haven't really slept for 3 nights - between the news on mum and this stinking cold...... I have blown my nose to kingdom come....

Morning all, yesterday work was stupid busy again. We've got a real issue going with one of our projects and between trying to understand the Spanish and not being able to log onto their system it's proving quite difficult to understand the problem. Ho hum!
I've got pregnancy yoga this evening, so I've put that on my list of things to do as I'm quite apprehensive having never been to this class before.
The cat food people have sent me the same batch number, I've tried the cat on it again but he now has a poorly tummy so definitely the batch. Need to call them when they open at 8:30am.
Hope you all have a lovely day :)

      Sneaky mum alert.

I told DS1 and DS2 that the carpet washing man is coming today. This has made them tidy their rooms to my satisfaction level. I will call the man today now I can see the carpet.

DS3 back to hospital for his foot/ankle injury at 11.
      DS1 has orthodontist at 12.30.

I hope to be able to catch up with the thread whilst waiting at hospital.

      Good day wishes to all.

Morning all. Did Tuesday on Monday, managed to move swivel tap so it flooded worktops and floor without realising. So kitchen done, kept up with oven and hob as it was blitzed last week. WM I use soda crystals and vinegar for washing and conditioner so should be ok.
Tuesday I did room and dining area. Henry walked and stuff put back where it lives.
Wednesday. Bath mats in WM. Bathroom swished and swiped as it was blitzed last week. Will Henry and wipe floors in bathroom and toilet before mats go back down.
M,T,W.Daily jobs done:- Washing, plates, cups, cats brought down stairs. WM on, creel unloaded and reloaded. Clothes put away. Tea sorted. Brisket, not had it for years and read thread on here about it. Lovely cooked in slow cooker and stew for today and tomorrow sorted, one with Yorkshires one with dumplings.
Went up to DD1 to help her empty last of kitchen cupboards for ripping out and new kitchen coming.
New socks on needles and new heel turn to try.
Hugs and spoons for all who need them. Chocolate for all who don't do hugs and spoons. Thoughts are with Poppy and her family.xxx
Going to catch up on rest of thread.
