  • Will I get peeling skin from the 20%?

Not peeling. More like the skin flakes off. If you left it on for 7 or8 minutes parts of your face may very lightly peel. That did happen to me on the part of my face which seems to be most sensitive to the acid.

I do it on a Friday night.
  • I've been I'll over the holidays so have not been using my peels at all. I have started today again and still using the no 7 gylcolic peel. Used a little tube today on face, neck hands and chest. So I have half the set left so will do this twice a week for next fortnight. I've had two weeks rest so far.

I wondered what to try after this is finished where to try Saylic ? I know that not right but have foggy head still. My gylcolic has started to fab my dark marks on my cheeks a little. But think I need to change things up a bit ...

You could try higher percent glycolic. Salicylic is for problem skin like blocked pores etc. it's the only one of the three that's stings for me.

Thanks! Does the mandelic/salicylic combination give you the same 'glow' as the glycolic?
  • Yes :j. It super exfoliates just like the others.

Ooh I'm sold! I'm off to order although I will use the no 7 one first.

I am really pleased even with that. Hasn't done anything for my huge pores bit it certainly makes my skin feel a lot cleaner and smoother.

I just wish I could find something that would 'exfoliate' my fat stores away now!!
  • I might try the saliyalic. For my forehead and nose chin then and it might clear it up but I think generally I will stick with gylcolic :)

Just bought the collagen boost kit from forever young. I got the 30% glycolic acid. Used it today and kept it on longer than should have (say 5 minutes) i've used glycolic before but in a lower dose say 10% max.

It really stung in certain places and went very red and sore. I've now been left with tiny little lumps on my forehead that are red and irrated. They aren't like spots more like when you get prickly heat.

Can't see much difference to my face but am only 23 so don't have lines (besides on my forehead).

I have a few hormonal spots now and again but dry skin and i've got slightly red marks from past spots. Would you recommend the glycolic or other peel?

I think I'm going to try the Boots one first to see how I get on :)
