Many people have highlighted cases with Alliance Parking and the Sea View Car Park in Polzeath, Cornwall, with outrageous claims and details suddenly being passed to debt agencies like Trace and solicitors like Moorside, years after any alleged incident.

For those looking to complain to the landowner, as recommended in this forum: the landowners of the car park are exactly the same as the owners of Ann's Cottage, the shop next to it. Ann's Cottage tries really hard to hide that fact, so the owners are clearly well aware of the reputational damage and hit to business if people realise how its owners are treating people parking in their car park - often just to shop at their store.

The owners of both Sea View car park and Ann's Cottage are Rebecca ("Becci") Cornelius and Emily Clare Doney. You can see their details on the Companies House website if you search for Ann's Cottage (company ID 06822569), and likewise on the Land Registry website if you search for title CL243058 ("Ann's Cottage Filling Station"). More contact details are available through sites like rocketreach.

Having just found myself in this situation, I am writing to them to request a cancellation and suggest that others do the same. Weight of numbers may have an effect, given the potential impact on Ann's Cottage.

does anyone have experience or template on how to win at POPLA against these thugs please? I tried searching but didn’t find much. Thanks
If you have a lie thread, you don't need to post on this thread as well, just look at the POPLA decision thread and read from latest backwards.

They should be ashamed. And they'll get ruined by bad reviews before they know it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sucess at getting two PCN notices issued by Horizon Parking.

I stayed at the Premier Inn Broadway in June and although I had entered my details in reception for my two day stay I recieved two NTK from Horizon Parking. Bizarrely they only issued them for the evenings I parked and not during the day.

I spoke to the hotel manager who informed me to appeal these including my booking details. So I  began searching this forum. After composing an appeal letter based on information provided on this forum I again looked at the advice. It was then that I remembered another complaint at a different hotel group that was resolved recently about an issue via the customer complaints department.

As a result I phoned the Premier Inn customer service who asked me to email the details and they would pass this on to the hotel manager so that they could be cancelled. Customer services kept me informed about the progress. Within 24hrs I was informed that the Notices had been cancelled. Unfortunately this wasn't the case as only one was cancelled but this was quickly resolved with a call to the hotel.

So thanks for all the advice on the forum and good luck to others.

When I had to go to a Premiere Inn I always had an A4 notice printed that said "The ticket machine is out of order at this time. Please park while you are a customer of the Inn until such time as the fault can be rectified." I stuck these onto the payment machines and took a photo of them for contesting any subsequent PCN. It worked every time.
