Thank you. I've sent him a polite email, but do wonder if it will just disappear into someone else's inbox. My mantra is simple: If I don't help myself first, I shouldn't expect it from others. If I don't like something, I will change it. If I can't change it, I will learn to deal with it.
I accept responsibility for my own actions and my own situation. A sense of entitlement is not healthy and will only lead to consistent disappointment.0 -

It's not happened with others who've followed similar advice. The glass is half-full from past experience! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I'm so annoyed that the fine is bigger than my shopping bill
And as Umkomaas says, and loads of Aldi threads show you, Aldi cancel these for genuine customers. Please post again next week to confirm we were right.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update: I've had an email from customer services on behalf of the MD and they have asked for the parking notice details to investigate.
I'll let you know the outcome.

Good news! It was totally worth trolling through the forums on here. Thanks everyone. I will certainly make sure I only stay for 90 mins going forwards!
Re: Parking Charge
Thank you for your most recent email.
As you are probably aware, Lidl UK GmbH is a national retailer. As such, we have stores in locations with limited parking space and in common with many of our competitors, our store car parks are abused to a significant and detrimental extent. We have therefore judged it necessary to take measures so that our stores parking facilities are available first and foremost to our customers.
In order to ensure that sufficient parking spaces are available at all times to our customers, Lidl employs third party contractors to monitor and control our car parks. So far, this service has proved reliable and effective in reducing car park abuse and in freeing up spaces for our customers.
In light of your comments, I have contacted the Car Park Management Company and have requested that this charge be cancelled. Please note, your comments regarding our parking restrictions have been noted and passed to the relevant department.
Thank you again for contacting us.
Yours sincerely,

There you go, well done you. :T Usual Lidl template response, provided it's the CEO who is emailed. Email Customer Services and the usual response is a fob-off line to contact the parking company.
By the way, I like your signature. Great affirmations. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Well done
Don't you think that Lidl talk a lot of cr*p
Looking after their customers interests ????? You were
a customer but until you complained they were not
looking after you were they, by protecting you against
the scammers they employ
Lidl, like most of these supermarkets have been sold
a pup by the PPC about protecting their so called
valuable spaces.
I have yet to pass a Lidl store that is jammed packed
with cars ? Maybe those empty spaces are customers
who will never return due to scammers being present
Lidl are not that Smart are they0 -
