Same goes for crisps! In Poundland get multipacks of 4 bags of Walkers for £1. Whereas if you to a supermarket when charging £1.25 each (either on its own or multibuy) for 6, it’s much cheaper.
Having said that, Walkers are having trouble with some flavours due to new computer issues at Leicester factory.1 -

Having said that, Walkers are having trouble with some flavours due to new computer issues at Leicester factory.I've not checked but you do have to check weight not quantity in Poundland, they often have branded especially made for them items, look the same but contain less of the productThat said if you're just looking for a packet of crisps for kids then price is topsGardener’s pest is chef’s escargot2 -

In Iceland, not sure about other supermarkets, noticed this cheekiness.Weetos are usually 500g. They've reduced the weight to 350g while keeping the same price. But they also have the cheek to proudly claim "20% extra" on the front of the box, so 420g instead of 500g for the same price.1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m_0ENIw4os&ab_channel=TheMeakers check around 1:15. The tin mentioned in the advert is c.3.5 times bigger now. £6.89 40 years ago is now about £27.70. So they are cheaper now as 27.70/3 is £7.91
I saw 2kg tins of QS last week for £15. This is £6.80 cheaper per kg compared to 1981 prices.6
