    200 not 260.

geoffken was comparing 1x 200g @ £2.25 with 2x130g @ £1 each (i.e. "260g for £2") and saying that the latter was the better deal.

Or buy the Aldi or Lidl equivalent for 80p ..

    Big tubes , same taste

We must have different taste buds. I tried the Aldi ones. It was one of the few occasions where an Aldi product failed to make the grade.

Yes I realise that, the point I was making was that the larger packs were previously being sold for £1, £1.25 maximum.

:rotfl: Not rude at all, just saying that if you can't expect people to understand the point you're trying to make if you omit a fundamental piece of information.

If people explain their point clearly, giving all relevant facts, others will be able to understand and appreciate their point and no-one will need to get upset about being mis-understood :)

All Proctor & Gamble washing machine liquids have less washes per bottle, the large one has gone from 60 down to 57.

I have never put in the recommended amount in. Live in a hardish water area. One time I put a dot on the side of a bottle every time I used some of the liquid for a washing load. I got 43 loads from a 25 wash bottle. If you live in an area with softer water, you probably got 5-7 more washes out of it.

All my washing comes out clean and fresh. The manufacturers put a recommended amount in so you use and buy more

What really grinds my gears is the weight of the packaging being included in the weight of the product. For example, I would expect a 1kg tub of yoghurt to provide me with 4 x 250g portions. Not any more, today I got 3 x 250g portions and then a 215g portion, in a 50g tub. If I'm buying a 1kg tub of yoghurt, I actually want 1kg of yoghurt
