Walkers Deep Ridged crisps multipacks have gone from 6 to 5 in a multipack!
Also Sainsburys' own ice cream like their triple chocolate etc have gone from 1 litre to 900ml.0 -
Sainsburys deli sausage rolls have shrunk in half but same price. Customer was moaning0

I'm furious at the shrinkage on Sainsburys Basics pork pies. 4 in a pack used to be 440g, now 260g, a whopping 40.9% decrease. Price has gone from £1.05 to £1, less than 5% decrease. I took the matter up with the maagement, their answer is that they've improved the pork filling. Hubby says they don't taste any better. Sainsburys has lost our future pie purchases!0

Home Bargains sell a quantity of oil suitable for the home mechanic.
5W30 and claiming to be "synthetic", it looks like a bargain for the low mileage owner of a 12 year old diesel, like me or for a motor now burning oil, between annual oil changes. At £15 it looks a bargain, but at 4.5 litres it is 10% under weight compared to my car's normal tipple.
Here is an alternative.

Crawford's Family Circle Biscuits now have 700g in their plastic tub.
Used to be 900g. I only found out because I happened to buy a new one the other week and got rid of an empty tub from my cupboard to make space for it. The old tub can't have been that old, either...“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
I've been buying frozen smoked haddock pieces in Farmfoods for ages. 2 x 500g bags for £5. They've revamped them into new bags and now exactly the same price for 2 x 450g bags. Fortunately their stock control must be carp because I found 500g bags lurking at the bottom of the drawer.;)
I'll still buy it as it's a really good price for fish but it does make me cross. I find the principle of 'shrinking foods' so patronising.0 -
Sainsbury` s own brand rice pudding has shrunk smaller tins, yet up 4p in price.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0
