Obviously not the people in here, but we are a very small minority compared to the people who don't come in here.

I dont think its about being a mug, I for one have brought things that have decreased in size but the packaging has remained the same, with no 'obvious' sign anything has changed, and only when Ive got home did i know.

Im much better at shopping and watching the discounts/decreases nowadays, but if your a busy bee and rushing around and you spot your usual box/bag/product then its way too easy to just drop it in your trolley, and you have no idea.

I've just got back from shopping in ASDA, got a couple of packets of Fox's Crunch Creams (on offer for 50p!) but they have definitely shrunk. I don't know the previous size (now 168g) but they never used to fit my biscuit barrel without removing a couple of biscuits now they fit with room to spare!
Also, Bird's Eye potato waffles - the box is half the size it used to be, 10 in it, I'm sure it used to be 12 but two less doesn't halve the size of the box, I haven't opened it yet but they must be awfully wee & thin now. Box of 10 is 567g

Just found the older details on Google and the box of 12 was 680g so you are getting 2 less per box but the weight per waffle seems to be the same. Not much consolation really

Its easy to know that YOU are hungry, but you probably wouldn't notice if you were witholding 15% of your cat's food.

Should be angry, but the thought of a hungry and unhappy cat makes me feel sad.

I have noticed Kleenex balsam fresh pocket tissues only have 9 tissues in a pack and had 10.

Don't know how long ago this happened as I threw out a pack saying 10 the other day and got a pack in my handbag that says 9.

Yes, you're absolutely right. And it's why I no longer buy Whiskas for my cat.

I wonder if Whiskas has changed the feeding instructions on the back? It usually says X pouches per day, but presumably this has changed with the change in weight - or have they kept it the same? Can someone check?
