Have any details been published about the policy of the share price (ie huge giveaway, good value etc)?

I haven't seen the full financial reports published yet, or a proper prospectus. There isn't enough information yet to make an informed choice.

It is so unfair, Millenials and Gen x's sitting on a nice cash pile as part of their deposit savings plan will be able to take advantage of this govt giveaway windfall whereas boomers who are fully invested in property with illiquid equity will miss out...typical.
    I think....

Chances are if it is great value they will severely limit the amount that you can buy, so I wouldn't fret over it.

No limit on the amount you can apply for. Apparently a prospectus is on the way soon.

I'm not sure I can spare the cash at the moment, and don't want to sell any other investments :( Otherwise I'd definitely think about it.

    Anyone here buying these shares?

I shall be loading up on them, the dividend promise seems very attractive.

There are to be strikes by the employee's against the sell-off .... in this case I hope that these staff forego their free £3,000 worth of shares (or donate every single one to charity)?

In fact, if you are on strike against privatisation you should be barred from receiving anything IMO.

Well, would you rather have a job or £3000 shares on paper?
Part of the share deal is not to lose employments rights, including the right to withdraw labour
I dont see a point in striking over it,however its no free ride if you lose your job

The free shares also require employees to work at RM for 3 years after getting the shares (resignation/dismissal)

Come on Griz, you've been on this forum long enough to know better. If you want serious discussion, then go onto the forum you linked.

This is the Forum That Moderation Forgot, well unless you get goaded enough to take on Devon, and Shortchanged sockpuppets, then you get reported to the unevenhanded moderators and banned immediately. Allegedly.

Not much longer for me now. No racism, foul language, or any other unacceptable behaviour from me, just questioning the bias of the board guides and moderators (and talking back to their pets, Graham's Gang), gets you banned sharpish. Just you watch.... ;)

I know I was waiting for next retort before the crayon quote came out.

This Ree persona hasn't been around much whilst I have been here.

I guess you should know about all that "allegedly" stuff.
