Anyone here buying these shares?
I shall be loading up on them, the dividend promise seems very attractive.
There are to be strikes by the employee's against the sell-off .... in this case I hope that these staff forego their free £3,000 worth of shares (or donate every single one to charity)?
In fact, if you are on strike against privatisation you should be barred from receiving anything IMO.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
My concern is that I want to invest big - maybe £75,000 worth - and stag them.
My experience of these things is that it will be oversubscribed and just those applying for the minimum £750 worth will get them! Which makes it pointless really.
I'm still going for the £75,000 worth and stag - but get the wifey to apply for £750 so I have both ends covered.
Why can they not make the minimum amount something decent to make it worthwhile - a minimum of £10,000 would be sensible.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
Sorry for the newbie question but what does "stag them" mean?!0

They will be priced to get them away ...... I want to stag them, but suspect that only applicants who request the minimum £750 worth will get any.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0

What is the point of Monday deliveries, surely moving to a 5 day model with Tuesday to Saturday deliveries makes mroe sense and ten shutting the network down from Sat AM deliveries to Mon PM collections?I think....0
