Hi Nana,
I have been wondering a how you were getting on and I am sorry to hear that you are struggling. I can't say I'm too surprised though. What you have gone through was awful and it must be hard to move on. The death of a loved is always sad but it must be infinitely harder for you given the the dispicable behaviour of your 'brother'
There is no closure for you.
I hope you get some comfort from the fact that you did everything you could for your father and that he knew you loved him.
I also hope you get support from your immediate family.
If you are really struggling perhaps you could try some councilling. Maybe they could help you work out a way to cope with what's happened.
I'm sending you a big virtual hug. I hope you feel better soon0 -
Sorry guys...so desperately sad and tearful. My brother caused such incredible pain I feel this sadness will never leave me x0
-
The sadness won't leave you, but time will dull the pain.0

You fought so long and hard to make things better for your dad, and then he passed. On top of the grief anyone feels when a parent dies, you also have all the aftermath of everything you else went through to deal with. Try to be kind to yourself and don't expect too much too soon. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Like many people on here I think of this thread and feel so bad for Nana and her late father, so just wanted to post to her to have as lovely a Christmas as she can. Hold onto the close family you have got and try to put the others out of mind if you can.
Remember the good christmasses with your Dad and concentrate on the future with your kids and grandkids
