There's one near my mother's house but it didn't say what they were showcasing that evening and as she's a veggie it's useless taking pot luck !

all events being promoted / run at the same time are for the same products in all stores - so the ones last month where bread and pastries ( and had the goody bags with bread , jam, cheese, tomato soup etc ) , and the ones running at the moment are for the "finest range" ( and have the goody bags with pasta , mushrooms etc )

Off to mine tonight , please report back on how you got on , I changed mine to one nearer to me so it might be worth looking to see if anyone has cancelled

  • My nearest is 15 miles away, which is too far for me, personally. I keep checking to see if one of the TWO Tesco Extras in my town are having events, but nothing listed yet.
I'm surprised at one of them in particular. It's had a lot of money thrown at it in the past couple of months (they installed the new Scan As You Shop system, and completely re-vamped and extended the clothing section), and I'd have thought they'd be wanted to show it off a bit.

    Clearly not.

In fact there are none going on in the whole of Northamptonshire and we've got at least 5/6 reasonably large towns, all with Tescos. I guess the decision to do it or not must be at regional managers discretion.
Because it's fun to have money!

Is there any likelihood of them having similar events for the Xmas range of food?

I don't know if they would bother as the majority of the food would need to be properly cooked instead of just being laid out as nibbles.
