Hope to see fellow MSE'ers there!!

Didn't know about these before, my local store are running them which really surprises as normally this area gets very little. Saying that, seven Finest sessions are on the list but they are all fully booked (up to 7th Nov). Has anyone heard if there are going to be any more focussing on another section?0

Manager who did our evening said they would be covering different ranges over time0 -
Just got back from the event tonight and want to say thanks for the info to OP and everyone. OH and I had a great tasting session, we shop less and less in Tesco nowadays but the tasty finest food and their story have lured us back a bit more now. One funny thing though, a guy in our group had 8 glasses of wine and another guy had 3 plate full of food in the savoury round. I don't think I have the face to do that but it was quite amusing to watch.0

Thanks for the heads up, everyone. Went to one event last evening, didn't expect there to be quite so much food. Normally at a tasting you get tiny portions of whatever the event promoters are trying to showcase; Tesco decided to throw whole slices of cake (which was delicious, for the record), two different cheeses, two different hams, grapes, 6 or 7 different chutneys/jams (didn't pay much attention as I don't eat those), grapes and tomatoes. There was tea and chocolate as well. I was however sad that they didn't have the means to allow us to taste the coffee they showcased - would have been interesting to taste the different ones. All in all a very interesting evening, and even though I normally shop at the other end of Tesco products, I'll be buying some of these things for special occasions.GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0
