Hi all,
other half has picked up parking fines and "forgot" to tell me as she knew I'd give her a lecture!
anyway a collection team visited with a final notice - also first otherwise I would have spotted the parking fines before.
It's unsigned but I dont' care about that, according to them there's 6 accounts I know of 2, what letter do i send to them to say woah!!
they want £800!

At a guess it's too late to appeal to the PPC but one of the not so recommended options any more is to ignore. It's a risky move but you can continue to ignore until you get a letter from northhampton county court...always respond to that denying the claim. Then come back here asking for advice. It might mean taking a day off work to attend court which is why it's much better to appeal earlier.ArseandElbow wrote: »Andrew James Enforcement btw
and...there is a parking charges board here for any further information.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Well if it's owed I pay it they've supplied 6 account numbers which is theirs as none tie up to the paperwork she managed to find "on request" when I saw this letter.
i don't have a driving licence so i know it's not mine!!!
I was wondering to write back fro a breakdown as i don't know what fines they refer too.0 -
What company is it you're dealing with0

Are these real Parking Tickets, or Speculative Invoices from a PPC (Private Parking Company)?0
-
Not got them on me but I think the 2 I've seen are from local authority - wife was later than expected back to car so ticket had run out... this will be about right with her as time keeping is terrible.
I have no record of anymore, so I was hoping to send a letter asking for documentation about these fines buys me time to look into it too.0 -

If they were issued by/on behalf of a Council/Local Authority, then they are enforceable.
Pop over to The Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking Board for more detailed advice.0 -
After 3x £170 and 3 x £220.0

Is point 3 on their list relevant to your current predicament ?
Have they actually provided proof to you by way of copies of the parking tickets etc and have you had any correspondence from the Council before they became involved ?.0
