In any event, it would also be shown on the vehicle order doc what the road fund licence cost was.
If indeed the salesman did say that the road tax was £30, I would be on the phone challenging him about it. But as someone earlier said, it could be a mistake at the DVLA end.
The DVLA paperwork said £0 and the disc arrived this morning and that says nil payment0 -

I think we are still making an incorrect assumption here.
Band D (121-130 g/km) vehicles (which the Punto in question sounds like it is) are £0 in year 1, £105 in subsequent years, confirmed here;

I had already looked it up myself, which was where I got the £105 from, and thanks to Trade Pro for explaining the first year difference.0 -
