ooh.. speaking of surnames (I have a bee about mine at the moment) ... I don't feel like I have one!! My maiden name doesn't feel like mine as I haven't used it for 21 years!!! .. more than half my life!! Plus I hate it and got married to get rid of it... I still use KH's which is my only alternative but I don't want his name I don't like him and don't want to be associated with him. I'd change it if I had any idea what to change it to.. OH is another who never wants to get married so that isn't an option. The girls have his name as I hate mine so wouldn't inflict it on them... So anyway... I have no name.

  • Well, I've been up all night again so thought I may as well crack on. The plan is to do as much as possible before DH leaves for work, then have a little nap before lunch and continue the decluttering this afternoon. That's the plan anyway :rotfl: If it's gone then it's been done, yey!

    Monday - Kitchen
    Done

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and downstairs loos
    Done

Wednesday - In memory of our dear friend Toots
    30 minutes to spare........
write your Toots list if you don't have one or if you do complete one item from it
    Got an hour .........
Then it's me time, life is too short, when our final day comes we will all still have a 'to do list' so do something you enjoy for an hour

    Thursday - Bathroom and study
    Got an hour...
Descale the shower or bath screen/tiles
Dust up high, being careful not to injury yourself

My very own extra special list:
    - Send eBay parcel
    - Speak to MIL and SIL about baby shopping / meet up / Christmas
    - Freecycle / eBay cooker
    - List 3 things on eBay
    - Whinge at Tesco and Thorntons for their respective incompetence
    - Sort out hospital appointment (still not done!)
    - New cover for support pillow
    PAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)
    One debt vs 100 days: £288.73 / £750
    £20 a day: March £838.97 / £620 April £224.53 / £600

    Total debt 04/2015: £13,997.51

Need to feed the mogs, iron DS2 a shirt, wake up DS3 and do a packed lunch.

    Morning

Just given kiddies brekki. We are at home until about 11 then taking DS to school. Need to pop up to town, hoping to find a wipe clean table cover.

This morning, I shall be writing my toots list (again). It will be a toots-!!!-winter list as it only stuff I think I will get done this year. Otherwise I just get bogged down.

I'm going to start with the front, driveway etc and first on my list is sweeping the gravel back into its home!

Thanks FizzWhizz, I've calmed down now I think I was just needing some food. I've not got the hang of the gas oven yet though and the cake burnt on the outside :( It did rise beautifully though with a lovely centre, so I know I've perfected the recipe/mixing. I think the oven was probably too high and the tins were touching the edges :(

My oven seems hot, I think its the fan, even though I use a lower temp. But I tried laying foil over when I did DD cake last week and it worked a treat!
Feeling very rough after a very poor night's sleep. Heading off to bed ina minute - I'm hopeful of a better night.

Won't be around for a bit - doing emergency trip to mum's tomorrow, staying overnight and heading back in time to get to work on Friday! Would rather not - I feel dodgy myself, but needs must.

DH has scan tomorrow morning on arm injury. If surgery follows he won't be able to use the arm at all for 3 weeks.

Strangely enough my sister's husband is in plaster after breaking his wrist motorbike racing. We think it's a conspiracy to avoid helping with mum's move!

Never rains but it pours, does it? I hope everything picks up with both mum and DH x

Can we have some of our magnificent flylady vibes for my daughters friends baby girl??? She has a serious heart condition.. basically her heart valves don't work so she is very very poorly.. she was 10lb at birth and just under 8lb now and is 3 months old. She is having emergency surgery tomorrow or Friday.. waiting on the specialist surgeon and needs some survival vibes.. she has a 75% chance of survival :( Her mummy is a wee babe at 17 and all alone in this country (her parents are in Germany) and the baby's papa has met her for the first time today!!!

Oh the poor little mite! Prayers for baby, mummy and family. Wishing for miracle worker surgeon to weave his magic! X

So sorry to read of Toot's passing x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
