FizzWhizz that looks yummy yum yum :)

I'm feeling very pregnantly hormonal today, haven't wanted to do anything all day but sit here and mope and I have no idea what's wrong with me. Have just found myself getting cross with the OH because everything is going well atm, but I know sooner or later we're going to end up in another row over baby's surname (he never wants to get married, I refuse to have a different name to my daughter). So I'm off to bake and eat a chocolatey chocolate cake for some ME time :)

The dailies got done but not much else. I went to see my cousin who I have been meaning to visit for months. Took her some flowers and had a few tears over Mam. Came home then straight out again.

Cat litter tray cleaned out. Lost Jake last month but have a new cat. Large ginger cat named Ozzy or AKA The ginger ninja. He is very active and a climber. He chose to live with me. Cat hairs decluttered.
  • Kerri, I hope you enjoy your cake and your wobble subsides soon :hugs: I am a very emotional sort and it takes very little to set me off in a minor huff or make me feel tearful. I sometimes wonder how my ex lived with me when I was pregnant, then promptly remember I had to live with him for the other 12 years of our marriage and then all sympathy is gone :rotfl: I have changed my surname after marrying DH and it's odd to be named differently from my children. DS2 would like to change his surname to mine too but his dad wouldn't hear of it, I joked earlier that next time I'm spoiling for a fight I'll text my ex and tell him :D
  • It's that time of the month when I can't stop eating...had 3 chocolate biscuits while cooking the chilli lol might have to go and read in bed to keep me away from the biscuit tin

Need to go fold the stuff out of the dryer but have a small child stopping me...not that I needed an excuse
Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T

Will try to remember all I wanted to say :o.
Piggers, I was tired earlier and forgot to add that you're a bit crackers and make me laugh :). I love your turn of phrase.
Fizz, Judy's has a super stretchy cast off, oh my! I love her super stretchy bind on, I must investigate this :).
Are any of you ravelry members? If so, my username is the same as it is on here. I must get on and finish the mitts I am making now it's not so hot at night.
    Erm what else...
Oh yes. How apt that I started a toots list on Sunday. I told DH yesterday that we are sanding and painting etc this weekend. He's not happy bless him.

Err, ETA, Fizz, am doing Jamie o's minced beef Wellington for tea on Friday. Mmmmmm.
    I got a toots star once :).
Am off to meet a dear friend for breaky tomorrow and we're taking DH's car for a spin :D. Nice new (to us) Audi A6.
Right, quandary. 3 bed house, the *smallest bedroom is 10'3" sq and is DS's. DD has the larger room at the front. Her room is directly above the lounge and every single day, I have to sit and put up with her running back and forth across her room and stamping. I feel like I'm being tortured and the lights on the ceiling actually bounce. She is *dancing* although she is like a bleeding elephant. She's now taken to the age old "I'm putting my clothes away/ tidying my bedroom/ doing my homework/ not doing anything" excuse. I can't bear the noise and she will not stop. Every single day, I end up getting my hair off at her and shouting at her which I don't want to do.
I am thinking she needs to swap bedrooms with her little brother. He has more toys as he is younger and yet his room is tidier. He doesn't crash around and I frankly can't see why she should have the bigger bedroom when she won't keep it tidy and won't respect the rules on noise levels.

  • So lovely to read all the tributes to Toots who was clearly a very special, supportive and kind lady - I'm sorry I never got to 'meet' her and know I would have benefitted very much from her tutting and guidance. Haven't got a lot done today due to feeling pants and having a guest over. The aim was to try and cheer him up, but I think he may have just lowered my mood instead - still, it's the thought that counts :rotfl:

Not a huge amount achieved today, but if it's gone then it's done. Am secretly quite impressed by how much I've managed to complete from this week's lists. Of course, we've not got to the rooms I struggle with yet (bedrooms) but still, thank you very much for the help and motivation.

Am going to relax until DH decides to take friend home (he'll be gone for 2 - 3 hours as it's quite a drive) then rush around sorting out the dishes and general tat that's accumulated in his visit. The HM pizzas went down well last night but were very 'doughy', much more of a pizza pie than a thin crust. Not sure what's for dinner yet but we'll probably eat properly when DH gets back at around 9:30ish so I'll get that ready while he's out.

Hopefully I'll have a better nights sleep tonight, was up for hours with LO booting me in the ribs last night and had an excessively long lie in as a result. I'm saving my Toots list for tomorrow's jobs, any spare time tonight will be spent indulging in a cup of (decaf) tea and the midwives.

    Monday - Kitchen
    Done

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and downstairs loos

Wednesday - In memory of our dear friend Toots

    - Sort out hospital appointment (still not done!)
    - New cover for support pillow
    PAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)
    One debt vs 100 days: £288.73 / £750
    £20 a day: March £838.97 / £620 April £224.53 / £600

    Total debt 04/2015: £13,997.51

Hello flyladies. Sorry to hear about Toots, very inspirational even though before my time on here.

Flying this week: dailies and I've done some shredding.

Today didn't start very well. All 3 dogs were unwell overnight and I had to go to the dentist. And now after an unproductive day at the paid stuff, I have no GUAG to do anything here at home either.

    Have a good evening everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Narco: Bossy, in her role as Flylady Challenge Monitor, has a list of Flyladies' personal challenges in Post 2. It just so happens mine is to finish a novel I started nearly two years ago, because I'm stuck and this is at least making me have a crack at it. (This is my third that I've started and I just can't bear the thought of abandoning another one.) Good to know there is someone else around who is thinking about doing writerly things, even if we're not actually writing. :o

I spent most of the day flying at the chalet, and I'm really sorry Dusty, but I didn't read the list before I went. Does it count that I sent a card to a friend I haven't heard from for months last Friday? (Btw, I can't bear blunt pencils. I spend half my time at my desk sharpening all of mine - as does OH when he's 'trying' to write, as well. Days when we don't succeed are known as 'Pencil Sharpening Days' in this house.)

    Hugs to all (((Flyladies))).
    Better is good enough.
