It was nice to see some names popping up that I haven't seen for many years. Like a warm cuddle from a comfortable well worn winter sweater. AnW's Mum, I remember you from the original MFiT thread, all those years ago. Lovely to *see* you again.
Wow that was so long ago! Nice shiny badge you have there, congrats on getting the mtg cleared. Love the sweater analogynice to see you too.

I too am sad to hear of Toots passing, from all the lovely things I have read she must have been a special lady and I'm sure those who knew her will carry her in your hearts for a very long time. I have been having a mammoth text chat with my best friend which I have been meaning to do all week and it's warmed my heart.
Turns out that yesterday's epic exhaustion was the build up to a massive migraine. Thankfully it was a birthday Chinese takeout for dinner so no cooking required and I bossed DSD into washing up. DH was very happy with his presents and said his cake was the most delicious he'd ever tasted. What a crawler :rotfl:
Today, I have mooched round @ldi and the butchers and managed to find a shop which sells those peggy things for your biggie smalls, my old one was being held together with masking tape and half the pegs were bent out if shape. I got two as there is always half a load of undies in every wash load.
Since getting home I've put all the shopping away, tidied the cupboards a bit, swept and mopped the kitchen floor, ordered new suit trousers for DH, along with slippers and white socks for DS1, folded all the dry stuff on the airer and hung up WMx1. Wash basket is so empty I can't manage another load -- which usually means there will be five loads ready to wash by bed time. I have no idea how it happens but it always does.
I need to cast off DH's sock but can't remember how to do judy's super stretchy bind off without putting on my lappy and if that happens, the rest of the afternoon will be gone.
Anyone in for a HHC at 2pm?0 -

I've just heard the sad news about our wonderful Toots passing. I've done what so many others have done, and have come to the thread to post my tribute to that amazing lady. I miss her, but I feel better for having known her. A true angel. She touched so many of us, whether in RL or virtually.
RIP Toots. You'll be sadly, sadly missed. xxxxxxxx

Flyladies, you've touched my life in ways you can't imagine. You showed me support and restored my faith in people. The wonderful things we did when I was posting, they way we looked after each other, there's nothing quite like it. I'm sure nothing's changed really. I am proud, so proud to be a flylady, and always will be.
Once a Flylady ,always a Flylady. I still point disorganised people in the direction of the thread, even if I am not here myself. It is only fair they feel the disappointment of never finishing a list like me;):heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
I wasn't lucky enough to know Toots, but I am deeply touched by the heartfelt messages everyone has posted. I can tell she was a very special lady. I had some tragic news about an old work friend of mine last week and have been very upset about it. Seeing how someone can influence so many lives and be so fondly remembered me makes feel a little better. I came on to look at the to do list, but today's actions are so timely, life really is shorter than we expect. I have bought a present for a friend's birthday who lives away and just wrapped and packed it ready for posting today. I also plan to phone a friend who knew old work colleague too to see how she is doing.
I don't have a toots list, but would love to start one - is there a model one online I could use as a basis?Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89
