  • Morning all

I'm working all day today so will wait until this evening to see what's left on the lists. So far I've loaded the DW, breakfast, morning daily-type-things.

    Hugs all round xx

I've got a quote pinned in my office which says "either find a solution to your problem or stop considering it a problem" but I think you're well entitled to a whimper as I'm sure you would rather be in your new nest sooner than later. hope things improve.

Thanks for your kind words! I'm lucky that I'm a glass half full kind of person, so an afternoon of sulking and crying is a rarity for me! Anyway, it has spurred me on to getting the baby's things organised. This is probably the only time I'm going to enjoy washing his clothes, so I'm making the most of it :p. Thanks!

    Morning all,
love todays list, very touching and since the BF is doing a 'homer' tonight I'll actually get peace to do the extra challenge!

Shall pick up some of the bits missed from yesterday as well. Full list can follow after work when I'll actually be able to do some of it.

    Have a good day all

  • Morning all. Another slow start for me today, but will try to catch up on a few things I've not got done yet. Today's list is as follows:

    • [STRIKE]Chase up solicitor for new house[/STRIKE]

and he has been round and done the certificate :)[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Hoover and dust flat[/STRIKE]

    • Go through larder and meal plan what can be used up
    • [STRIKE]Book hospital tour[/STRIKE]
    • Wash and sort baby's hospital clothes - done half of these, but I need my OH to reach a box with the rest of them in it.
    • [STRIKE]Make a list for my hospital bag [/STRIKE]- I now need to buy more "essential" things
    • Research home insurance for new house
    • [STRIKE]Ring man about new vinyl floor in kitchen[/STRIKE] - done but left a message as he wasn't in.
    • Spend half an hour packing up the "posh" tea set.
    • Sort out money and spends for the past few days.
    • Buy "essential" things for my hospital bag

    30 minutes to spare........
write your Toots list if you don't have one or if you do complete one item from it - I have a massive spreadsheet of things I need to do before the baby comes... I will progress through some of these.
    Got an hour .........
Then it's me time, life is too short, when our final day comes we will all still have a 'to do list' so do something you enjoy for an hour - today I'm having lunch with friends, planning to bake some biscuits and go to yoga this evening. Plenty of "me" time today!

Hope everyone is well today, and hugs to all. xx
