    Afternoon all,
Day 2 of flying, was quite chuffed with myself yesterday so here's hoping it continues!
Sadly living room is slightly more difficult as it currently contains a new-to-me sideboard for the new house as well as other bits not normally located there! Might try a little shoogle of locations to make it work better for us in the next few weeks!

Tuesday - Living Room and Hall
    15 Minutes..
15 minutes tidying, putting away or sorting a pile in the corner
    30 minutes to spare..
    Hoover the floor
Wipe mug rings and sticky finger prints away, wipe the remote control
    Got an hour...
Sort out a cupboard in one of these areas
Work on that paperwork mountain with 15 minutes shredding, filing, recyling etc

    Extra challenge:[STRIKE]
    Relocate furniture to improve efficiency
Make the BF's lunch for tomo
Deliver coffee table sold on gummytree
    [/STRIKE]

Hmmm well not the most productive day but had a few things come up and less time than hoped for!
The BF moved the sideboard as requested, coffee table was delivered (not far out of the way and got £20 for a table that cost £14 new :T)
Back on the flying wagon tomorrow :D

God bless Toots - much loved and an inspiration to us all.

Perhaps some of us older'flyladies should come back and cause some chaos :)
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Good evening :o

I have not been flying much this week, but I will make a special effort in Toot's memory tomorrow.

In my defence, I have been working 10 hour days, plus paperwork :o House looks ok though, thanks to the inspiration of this thread over the last 2 years or so. I remember Toots' posts very fondly, she will be greatly missed.

Visited ike@ tonight after I had finished the paid stuff. Spent less than I could have done, as the storage I was going to get was out of stock. Maybe it is better to wait until I have earned more money :p

New baby started this week (hence very little flying) He is an absolute joy to have. I love my job :D The best bit is... I get to give him back at the end of the day & sleep at night!! Looking forward to more toothless baby smiles tomorrow :)

Ok. I think I am going to go to bed soon, as I will be starting again at 7am (not used to the early mornings again yet!)

    Night night all x

Another old face here.. I am so gutted to hear about Toots!

Nearly 5 years ago I posted a photo of my daughter in her pumpkin Halloween costume . Toots christened her "little pumpkin" from it and always referred to her as that. It was only the other day I fondly thought of Toots when I was myself calling Sarah " little pumpkin" ...

Heavens gained a wonderful angel and my thoughts will be with her and her family tonight.

RIP Toots you will be missed

Jo & her Little Pumpkin Sarah xxxx

I'm going to have to postpone my dentist visit tomorrow until next week. She pulled at my face to access my tooth and has managed to split the skin where my lips meet. Its gotten sore to the point it hurts to open my mouth wide and I really don't want a matching sore on the other side of my mouth at the same time. So my first priority is to call them and change the appointment at 9am! :o

I'm off to bed now. Aiming to get up at 6am again I have paid stuff to do as well as my lists. Just hoping the paid stuff won't take too long! I'll update my list tomorrow. Night all
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • I came on to catch up with the thread and found myself thinking of Toots and wondering who I could PM to find out if there was news of her.

So sad to read the news from AnW'sMum.

RIP Toots. A very special lady.
