I figured there would be a whole load of posts here about our lovely Toots, and I too am gonna miss her... But I also know from having spent a long long time on this thread that its a huge means of support to many of you, and you have the added bonus of seeing your house cleaner and more organised! Many of us have the good lady herself to thank for that!

When something like this happens on the thread, no one wants to carry on posting and appear insensitive, so I have stopped by to brandish fluffy mules at all of you!

Toots didn't want you all to know she was ill, didn't want a load of fuss and she certainly wouldn't have liked the flying to come to a halt... In recents weeks we've had conversations and she likes to catch up with how you are all doing, which I had relayed to her, as I think I have most of you on FB!! Others of course she emailed directly... As her health deteriorated she couldn't keep up with the thread but I did try to talk her into coming back many times as I know she missed you all!

As a tribute to Toots herself, I ask, on her behalf that you carry on Flying and for one last week you can have a star for each day you complete..

Monday - Kitchen
15 Minutes..
Wipe out the fridge, note what needs using up or restocking
30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop the floor
Wash out the washing machine drawer
Got an hour...
Wipe the surfaces, removing things which don't belong here as you go
Are the spiders coming in from the cold, go on a cobweb hunt

Extra challenge:
Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time
Renew library books, fill in that form you've been meaning too, check for birthdays in the next few weeks.

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and downstairs loos
15 Minutes..
15 minutes tidying, putting away or sorting a pile in the corner
30 minutes to spare..
Hoover the floor
Wipe mug rings and sticky finger prints away, wipe the remote control
Got an hour...
Sort out a cupboard in one of these areas
Clean the toilet and sink
Work on that paperwork mountain with 15 minutes shredding, filing, recyling etc

Extra challenge:
Locate wellies and waterproofs, check they fit
Change pet bedding, they will be spending even more time in them now the weather is turning
Check the prices of logs, oil, coal etc and place your order before the rush

Hello my lovelies.
I've just heard the sad news about our wonderful Toots passing. I've done what so many others have done, and have come to the thread to post my tribute to that amazing lady. I miss her, but I feel better for having known her. A true angel. She touched so many of us, whether in RL or virtually.
RIP Toots. You'll be sadly, sadly missed. xxxxxxxx

Flyladies, you've touched my life in ways you can't imagine. You showed me support and restored my faith in people. The wonderful things we did when I was posting, they way we looked after each other, there's nothing quite like it. I'm sure nothing's changed really. I am proud, so proud to be a flylady, and always will be.
