Thank you Anw's mum for telling us.

eternal grace rest unto Toots and may perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.

CY very sorry to hear that Mr CY was right in his diagnosis. Will he need surgery?

X-Raphael sorry the op was cancelled at the 11th hour. It's so unfair on everyone who is steeled for the op.

I've lost an envelope with £30 in it... Going on a hunt.
  • Sorry to hear the news about Toots, she obviously touched many people on here.

Just dropping in quickly to update my list before I go and prep for dinner. DH left his phone at home so I could ring Orange so his work alerts have been coming through all day - it sounds horrendously busy so no doubt he'll be hungry when he comes home.

    Monday - Kitchen
    Done

Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and downstairs loos
    Got an hour...
    Clean the toilet and sink

My very own extra special list:
    - Send eBay parcel
    - Get rid of excessive bathroom products - do I really need so many lotions?
    - Attempt to downgrade Sky
    - Speak to MIL and SIL about baby shopping / meet up / Christmas
    - Freecycle / eBay cooker
    - List 3 things on eBay
    - Whinge at Tesco and Thorntons for their respective incompetence
    - Sort out hospital appointment (still not done!)
    - New cover for support pillow
    - Remake bed
    PAD: £4843.10 (loan paid, yay!)
    One debt vs 100 days: £288.73 / £750
    £20 a day: March £838.97 / £620 April £224.53 / £600

    Total debt 04/2015: £13,997.51

One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Last little bits and thats me done for today. I'll save the rest and catch up tomorrow.

Mumto5 - yeah its a little frustrating, but emergencies obviously come first :) just want it over and done with.

    Monday - Kitchen
    15 Minutes..

Wipe out the fridge, note what needs using up or restocking
Defrost done, everything washed and wiped out and food back in.
    30 minutes to spare..
    Sweep and mop the floor
Wash out the washing machine drawer
    Got an hour...
Wipe the surfaces, removing things which don't belong here as you go
Are the spiders coming in from the cold, go on a cobweb hunt
No spiders, but a mouse ran under the sofa while I was sat here! So traps and poison down.
    Extra challenge:
Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time
check for birthdays in the next few weeks. Presents picked out to buy for my brothers birthday soon.

    Tuesday - Living Room, Hall
    15 Minutes..

15 minutes tidying, putting away or sorting a pile in the corner Washing collected and put away
    30 minutes to spare..
    Hoover the floor
Wipe mug rings and sticky finger prints away, wipe the remote control
    Got an hour...
Sort out a cupboard in one of these areas
Work on that paperwork mountain with 15 minutes shredding, filing, recyling etc All my paperwork has been moved from my 'to sort' draw into my files
    Extra challenge:
Locate wellies and waterproofs, check they fit
Change pet bedding, they will be spending even more time in them now the weather is turning
