    I don't even scrub mine! I use frylight on the pan then on the wedges and sprinkle with paprika, maybe a little salt and pepper.

    Don't peel and yes, they work in the actifry - even with sprinkly bits like paprika on them!!!

    yep i agree , I never peel mine just toss them in oil and add a bit of cajun seasoning

    thanks everyone. I scrubbed them, cut them up and mixed them up with a little oil and garlic and herb seasoning. they were yummy x

    I only ever peel potatoes when making mash or roast potatoes as the skin and the area just under it contain most nutrients.

    As you've now made your wedges I've added your question to the main wedges thread to keep the suggestions in one place.

    Pre boil or not to pre boil? Any pro's or con's?

    I chop, stick in a freezer bag with oil, salt, spices, shake thoroughly and stick on preheated tray at 200... no parboiling (I parboil for roasts and saute, not wedges :) )
