Still enjoying our few days away but feel exhausted. All this enjoying yourself takes it out of you. Just driven through the most beautiful little villages with the oddest names. Upper and lower Slaughter. Must read up on the history.

Pleased I didn't order that coat from M&S before we came away. They have 20% off for 1 day only. Off to find my points coupons to use too:)

I missed the pic of Scamps, but im pleased. The thought of looking at poor Scamps all red, hairy and throbbing does me no good at tea time.

For anyone who ordered a load of GTA V pre-orders, it may be worth you buying them, then selling them to CEX, as they are offering the same price that they cost in Tecso. Only really worth it if you have more than 3 pre-orders though (IMO).

I have a problem with bucket shakers at supermarkets since I found out someone I used to know had been emptying the contents into his own pockets

He was paid a large percentage from the charities for arranging bucket shakers, they also got a cut of the proceeds, resulting in the charities only getting between 20 to 40% of takings, which I think is dreadful.
If I give to someone shaking a bucket I used to think the charity got the lot and it was voluntary.

It was estimated he took over 750K , but probably a lot more. got sentenced to 3.5 years a few months ago.

when i had my pub one day at 5pm 4 men came in with charty buckets and started to count they after they finished one guy phone who i assume is the boss gave the total of £5572 and said he was taking £2,000 for them:eek:

ask asked him howhe was geting paid for chartiy work and he told me

    "nothings free in life"

and you only need to look at the charity manger ceos to see the salary ther on shocking , i rarely give cash to charity's now just donate stuff unless its kidney research close to my heart ,

Just checked my receipt and barcodes for bread and s&g definitely different.

Is it true was the sada customer adviser told me that the glade and s&g are classed as non grocery items, therefore do not count towards your 8 items?

Thanks everyone for your input, much appreciated. If I try again I don't want to make the same mistake :o. xx

glade and s & g counted for me yesterday, I only just bought enough to compare and it did. I agree with the theory that SA scanned some of them as the same. I always separate different flavours/varieties on the belt to make sure they don't.
