    Good afternoon everyone

I'm exhausted! Babysitting my grandson today whose crawling at a speed Usain Bolt would be proud of. He's also a genius when it comes to manouevering his baby walker to get what was supposed to be out of reach.

Gor my Fissler stockpot today and the quality of it is fantastic but it wasn't as big as I thought it would be.

Just checked my receipt and barcodes for bread and s&g definitely different.

Is it true was the sada customer adviser told me that the glade and s&g are classed as non grocery items, therefore do not count towards your 8 items?

Thanks everyone for your input, much appreciated. If I try again I don't want to make the same mistake :o. xx

Oh, good evening!!:) Off to catch up.

Straight into it then!! - Glade and S&G are clearly grocery items. The sorts of items that do *not* count are items such as those classed as "home" items (they should appear as such under those categories on a.com, at least they used to), such as mops, towels and dinnerware, microwave ovens and kettles etc. Mop head refills though might count for some reason. I once got some Cocktail Sticks - they were showing for both A and T at 20p on msm, but they didn't count - I still had 8+ other items though so only "lost" 2p (which I couldn't have had anyway as an "excluded" item).

Beware the car accessories stuff - deionising liquids, car window wipes, anything car-related, does not count, nor does stationery - these are items (car accessories, stationery and the like) to be aware of as not being included within the APG, particularly as they are now starting to appear on msm.co.uk. They may well be on msm but they are not in the APG.

Regarding the CS, was this someone in a store or was it HQ over the phone? It clearly wasn't anyone from the APG team as, if it were, they would have known what the exclusions are/are not. Your 'general' instore CSO is unlikely to know the full details of the APG and its exclusions I feel. I once had a comparison that didn't give me the amount I was expecting, took a print-out of the comparison into store and the CS told me they didn't know you could get the comparison result:rotfl:.

Agreed, so only really worth it if sending off 3 or more (think the max is 10)
