Scamps, sounds nasty, hope you are ok though.LOL, I've just discovered that the HUKD Mod that posted a pic of a "successful" Tango glitch shop was just re-posting someone else's FB pic. Turns out the guy didn't realise he'd been charged the full price and drove away from C+C with a boot full of full price bottles  :rotfl:

Just had a 10 minute phonecall with a lady from Cancer Research, thanking me for my support in doing race for life. The lady then goes on to say all about the research that goes into cancer treatments and starts asking for a donation of £12.00 a week :eek:, my god, we already pay £10.00 a month to cancer research. I lost my sister to cancer, so I really don't mind paying it, but £12.00 a week is a bit steep. I politely told her that I couldn't afford it.
Any way I am doing a 3 hour zumbathon in a couple of weeks to raise money for cancer research, my contribution.0 -
sorry guys, but had to remove the picture as it was far too graphic for some.
Sorry, I can't help but feel that this is taking the Nanny Complex too far. I am sometimes amazed by the things on here that seem to upset people to the extent that they report posts or posts are censored and removed. I often wonder how some sensitive souls manage to survive everyday living.ELITE 5:2

I'd have a look at your receipt. Maybe the SA scanned both your S&G as one type, and both your loaves as one type .
Are the barcodes on the receipt definitely different for both loaves and both S&Gs?
Just checked my receipt and barcodes for bread and s&g definitely different.
Is it true was the sada customer adviser told me that the glade and s&g are classed as non grocery items, therefore do not count towards your 8 items?
Thanks everyone for your input, much appreciated. If I try again I don't want to make the same mistake. xx

Charities are getting far too pushy IMO. We are plagued by door knockers where I live, wanting you to set up DD for charities. We have at least one a week and often more. And they are very persistent, verging on downright rude sometimes  I have signs up but it doesn't stop them.
I have raised money for charity myself and the kids support various charities through school. I feel that the hard sell angle is far too much.
Well done to you for what you have raised :T:T you've certainly done your bit!0 -

You are sooo right, we get loads, sometimes I feel like screaming down the phone at them. She started off at £12.00, then it went down to £6.00, then £3.00, and I was getting rather annoyed by then, I pay what I can and they should be happy rather than annoying more people.0
