  • That sounds much better and you sound like you've got your head in the right place about it! Glad it's sorted and you never know what you might find if you do start looking.

  • Well, am glad it is sorted and there is at least an outcome.

Not a great experience I guess but at least you have a wage and a chance to look else where.

Big hugs and bloody well done for sticking it out

I'm glad that week is over! :p

Everything else got put to one side with the work stuff so time to get back to me! However, ironically, I have been approached via LinkedIn about another job! Typical! I have responded but there are no details about the actual job so it may be nothing

I have put a pound back on which I am actually quite pleased with! I have made no effort with dieting and haven't been to the gym for two weeks so I expected it to be a lot worse! Need to get back on track, don't want to be slipping back!

I'm going out to lunch today for a friend's birthday to a 'celeb' restaurant I've wanted to go to for ages :D . Just tried my outfit on and I'm really pleased with it - faux leather pencil skirt, sleeveless top, Ted Baker patent heels and the statement necklace I bought in Primani (I love that it's in Selfridges and you get it in a Selfridges bag ;)) . Another reason not to put weight back on - I am finally at a stage where I can wear the styles I want to wear - 12 months ago I wouldn't have contemplated wearing the skirt! I had my hair cut shorter last week and I'm loving the way it looks too :)

Bit of admin stuff done yesterday. Cancelled my Experian trial, nothing on my credit report I didn't expect but I really got it to see if there my be any accounts with forgotten PPI lurking but no such luck! Got a letter back from Virgin too but I'm not entitled to flight compensation - worth a try though! Paid my speeding fine and booked my speed awareness course

Have a good weekend everybody :j

Good weekend! :j Had a lovely time on Saturday with the girls, fantastic food and many cocktails! Quite spendy but well worth it - and I made myself use public transport instead of cabs! So a little bit MSE!

Was at a work event for a charity yesterday - very inspiring group of people. Certainly made me feel that I should do something a little more meaningful with my life, maybe get involved with the charity in some way

Usual Monday today - just work really, have lost my exercise mojo! Need to get back on track with that! :o

Called about the role I was approached about but the salary was considerably lower than my current one so I'm not going to take it any further

Socially my life is mad at the moment! :p. Out for lunch yesterday for a friend's birthday, couple of drinks last night, and dinner with another friend tonight! :D

Not good for finances though, but I always said I would still have a life while debt busting!

Work is pants, not enjoying it at all! :( Feel under scrutiny all the time, waiting for the axe to fall - and not really enjoying the work either! But on the up side - only 6 working days until my hols! :j
