Morning and its trying to be sunny here. Hope so as I need to paint a outside wall, thought I would stick fence paint on it. BIG MISTAKE as soon as it got wet started running off. So power washed it yesterday and spent argh 21 pounds on masonry paint so ready for action. Not in my budget thou.
On the brightside got someone from work to fix my front door lock which should save my buying a new door for the time being and making me a small fence with left overs from site - no cost to me.
Lodger settled in, seems really nice and away next two weekends so back to me wandering around the house naked - well maybe if it was tad warmer. hehe

Nothing major happening on credit card repayment front this week due to paying car insurance anually usually I would add to credit cards so I am getting to be almost a good girl.

Hoping not to spend any money today. Not major spends yesterday 3.00 rabbit bedding - good old Home Bargains and the paint 21.00 yikes but will last 15 yrs apparently!!!!!

Roasted carrots, parsnips, and potatoes for tea, did enough for today. Had with some fish. Followed by Blackberry, redcurrant crumble and ice cream, Lots left so no fear of me starving or getting to be skinny anytime soon. Curves work for me. Ramble over

Can I keep this up for 3 yrs, craving a holiday or even a few nights away today. How do the long haulers on here keep motivated?

Well with my lodger here for 6mths, may bring forward my debt free day from 1.10.16 to 01.06.16.

House sparkly clean, bit of gardening, night in all alone heaven. Will make a curry for tea so no spending.
Glad its Friday incredibly tired today, think I worry too much about everything need to chill out more. Gardening construction again tomorrow before gales arrive and then a concert in Manchester Sunday. Be good to get out and about for a change.

Onwards and upwards need to stay more positive. Strict talking to given to myself.

  • Hi Calling14. We're all allowed the occasional wobble, that's why I've found this forum so helpful.

Remember now you are dealing with your debts, you have taken the biggest step:j You can see an end date in sight, no matter how far away it is and your new found DFW attitude should stop you getting back into that viscous debt cycle.

Well done you're doing great and enjoy the curry ;)

New day got my washing in dried overnight. Washing on and Sun out ;-)
Sfd planned for me, heavy work in garden done yesterday and not feeling too clever as a result of it. Plant bulbs for spring planned not sure why I got so many.

Neighbour dropped off bread :Tyesterday so a Sfd and free food. Her husband brought too many home from work. Gratefully received and tucked up in my freezer.:T

Quick soak in bath to get my back sorted before nutty dog walks me :rotfl:

Well good weekend, besides an almost nasty collision, Was crossing over M60 horrendous rain, middle lane and some idiot did manage to cut across me to get onto the motorway. Emergency stop in those conditions not great but got away with his car just scratching my mine wing slighty can T cut out, thought It was going to nasty, sure he never saw me at all and Mr Angry behind who nearly hit me, obviously going too fast for road conditions. Calmed down and had a lovely evening out eventually. phew.

Went to Harvester for tea so reasonable under a tenner for a garlicky chicken, chips and peas, unlimited salad bowl and two drinks :T

Up bright and early out walking dog at 6.30am good seeing got home and into bed at 1am.
Work going well, looking like beans on toast for lunch, staying in office another sfd planned.

Positive mood today, slightly annoyed got charged interest on my Capital one account, 6.77. Usually get away with interest. Hope to clear that account next month and will pay extra interest bit later.

Will hunt around house for sellable items later will try facebook pages first as ebay charging selling fee on postage is a joke.

    Happy wet Tuesday folks. :j

Added to my credit cards today but its allowed balance transfer fee of 42.60. My Virgin card 0% deal ended Oct. so now on a 0% deal with Barclaycard till July 2014. Won't add it into my totals as already increased my monthly payment to pay the tf fee in full in a few weeks time.

Next two weeks are going to be extremely tight ones, hopefully enough food to last me through.
Have the feeling one of my tyres has a slow puncture. 1 step forward 2 steps back :(
Well looking on the positive side. Paid 16% of my total debt back in 7mths

Capital One card hopefully cleared next month.

Can't stop eating chocolate at the moment hooked on boost bars, not helping my figure or budget it has to stop:rotfl:NOW !!!!!!
