It's a wonderful feeling isn't it. I know I still feel the old anxieties and sometimes struggle with thinking that I can't afford things but when you have been down the road of despondency you will never go back. We'll done to you.
  • Whoop! That is absolutely brilliant - well done Piq, what a fab thing to have been able to write in your diary :D:D

Great stuff, you must be so relieved. All the best for the future .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Well that's it. Finally after five years and nearly £70k of debt and £150k of mortgage.......I am debt and mortgage free :T I have paid off my last credit card, the mortgage was cleared on Tuesday and I do not have an overdraft :T Feels a bit strange to be honest. To stay in the mse way I rounded down my current account and transferred the £8.19 to my savings account, very odd not to send it to the credit card.

Today I bought a new slow cooker, turns out the old one got broken in the move, and some milk. I don't feel the need to buy anything else.

I'm going to have to put a whole new budget in place and a savings plan too. A good start to December.

Darling girl that's just awesome. Looking forward to these new adventures.
