...and here we are back again :hello: Actually the internet was back late yesterday afternoon, but I was too tired to come and post on here - I wouldn't have made any sense whatsoever. An example of how tired I was? Colin is now having to use a litter tray, so I have to clean it out, which I did so. Colin used the tray just before DD1 and I went to do grocery shop. Bagged up the smelliest deposit ever and left the house. I realised I hadn't binned the deposit but still had the bag with me when we reached T£sco :rotfl:DD1 nearly made a deposit herself through laughing and was no help at all during the shop as she was still hysterical.
The move went smoothly, the buyer's money was late going across meaning we had to move in here in the dark, at least it wasn't raining. There was a problem with the water, didn't have any! I think that counts as a problem. All sorted now though and didn't cost anything as it was a simple job, even if it did take a while to work out how to fix it. It's all okay for men, they can use a tree, the rest of us have to borrow the facilities from strangers, a good way to meet the neighbours :rotfl:Who incidentally seem lovely and kept bring cups of tea every half hour, meaning I know their bathroom very well.
DD1 came for the day yesterday to unpack, it's nearly all done apart from anything that needs a shelf or hook. The house has no storage. The spare room is full of boxes of books and ornaments. However the kitchen is unpacked and functional, the living room needs bookcases built but the sofas are in place and the TV will be sorted later today.
Colin has at last settled down, he didn't like it at all. I gave him his tranquilizer as directed an hour before travelling, within five minutes he was falling over drunk and chasing invisible green mice. Funny but disturbing. I shipped him off to Mum's, where he continued to chase invisible mice and hiss at my Dad for a few hours. He then christened my Mum's bedroom and slept in the shower until I came to pick him up. He actually jumped into my arms when I arrived and was very vocal about how pleased he was to see me. He hasn't left my side since then and shouts at me if I leave the room. He doesn't seem so distressed about it now though. Having discovered the bay window gives an excellent, if changed, view of the world he happily sits there just observing.
Breakages include one wine glass, all the pasta bowls, one serving dish and a mug. Not too bad at all.
Thank you for all your positive vibes they worked!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

so pleased that you are safely installed and that dear Colin did not escape or anything awful. I should have visited the bathroom before I read your post about taking the "bag" to the SM, - must dash there now:rotfl:The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
