Oh balderdash! Your Dad sounds like a proper handful at the moment. Hopefully this will make him do his exercises and not put him off moving in the future!

What a BLERGH piece of news about the job front. Hope you can solve something soon.

  • I add my bah to the job news. However I reckon there is an untapped market in straw hats and bonnets for pink eared cats.
If not, pehaps turn the boys' field into an outdoor spa, offering mud treatments. People pay good money for that sort of thing ;)

Lovely to have baby news, congrats Alioops, at 8lbs + what a good job Arya was early (!) but I add my bleurgh to the job news. However, you do have a bank of skills Piq, more than most have.

I am looking at my heated throw as I type, tucked in to its box beside the bookcase in a corner of the room, perhaps it will be out within the week.
I had Jack Monroe's new book arrive today and was cooking from it a couple of hours later. I love Jack's recipes, I had all I needed for what I chose to do in the fridge and cupboard and it's towards the end of the week. Never an unnecessary ingredient, just what you need to make it taste good. (I did the cauliflower mac, apparently Jack demonstrated this on daytime TV, which I don't watch.)
