And where have you been young lady??? That was asked in a very strict tone of voice. Hope things are good for you and you've only been missing because time flies.

I'm sorry Miss Piq :o:o:o:o. I didn't mean to be missing for so long but I have been reading honest.

Unfortunately it's been due to yucky work issues, missing home etc BUT things are definitely on the up and although work issues haven't really resolved that much I'm feeling a bit more zen about things which counselling has helped me with.

I promise to check in at least once a week from now on but didn't want to before as I'd just end up ranting. I should probably start my own diary then I can rant away whenever I want :rotfl:.

PS - can I come off the naughty step yet - I think my 35 minutes are up now :A:p:rotfl:

Good idea Kaz. I'm too trusting by far. I will pop over tomorrow and ask for it in writing. He seems genuine enough, but you're right especially after the last yard owner.

That's good. Got two of the thread truants back and off the naughty step:D

Yesterday evening was long and boring at work. I think I might start reading and writing in the mse diaries when it's very quiet. Having said that Wednesday nights are normally busy, but I'll take necessary equipment in case there is a lull. The management won't mind as long as the customers are looked after.

What does today entail? It ought to entail some paperwork. I'll aim for two pieces of paperwork and one phone call. I'm still waiting for certain bits of requested information so the to-do pile won't disappear in it's entirety.

I'll pop over to see the farmer later this morning and request a written formalisation on rent free field. Then a fruit cake and some brownies for work.

All of this will happen if I can just hoist myself off the sofa, maybe another cup of coffee will help....

Fantastic news about getting the boys moved soon:j

Does the farmer have a wife/partner?, if not the occasional item produced by the wonderful red machine might keep him happy and earn you extra brownie points:D

Might the quiet moments at work be a bit of time for you to get back into your writing?

Good luck with the paperwork, I did make a start yesterday on a girt pile needing shredding or filing, but my inner (usually missing) cleaning goddess kicked into action this morning instead:rotfl:

Although there are quiet moments, and plenty of them, I still have to jump up if a customer appears or wants something. Meaning I can only do things that don't involve too much deep thinking.

I took your advice and took a tray of brownies to the farmer, he doesn't have a wife. He was very happy with them. He wants me to write the agreement and he will sign it and offered that there should be witness to it too. That will be a weekend job I think.

Car tax paid for on line. Realised too late that it was going to my old address. Luckily everything is being forwarded by Royal Mail :o That led on to me updating the log book for the car!

I've sent off a couple of documents requested by the endowment people. So far there hasn't been an outright refusal to my claim. I only started it to motivate Mrs PG :D

That means quite a bit of the pile has disappeared. Doubtless it will breed while I'm at work....

Thanks Piq, you're like a favourite Auntie :D. What's gone is gone and focusing on the start of a new journey for myself and husbandpet :D:eek::D:eek::D:D.

Be careful of sharing too many baked goodies with single farmer man, he might get the wrong idea :p. Great news that he agrees on making it a formal agreement in writing and being witnessed. Such great things coming from the move.
