I got through yesterday. The lunchtime special went down very well and the customers are putting together a list of food they'd like to have on a Friday. The owner was in yesterday and I think in a very clumsy way he was attempting to flirt with me  If you think 'I like your dumplings' is a come on line ladies he's your man! I'm not going to fight any of you for him. All yours for the taking! Please
There were loads of glazed butter carrots left over, I peeled far too many carrots so I bought them home and now have four portions of carrot and coriander soupI also bought home Colin a sausage, but he didn't really like it so I chopped it up and put it on the bird table. I just hope Colin doesn't now decide he would actually enjoy the sausage and break the bird table [again]
I've used up the two blackened bananas, soaked some sultanas in the last of the ginger wine added some chopped walnuts and have a divinely aromatic cake that has just come out of the oven. I'll take it to work this evening. The red beauty has earned me another £5
Other than that, I've cleared the paperwork, set up March's spreadsheet and done some random housework. This means.....*drum roll* I can go and see the boys on Monday :happyhearTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Oh, please could we have a tiny pic of them? Then we can all visualise your brave new world.
How is your guardian angel and her dear husband? You haven't mentioned them lately.0 -
Loving all the food chat
I feel like a craving for banana cake coming on...may have to make some tomorrow
Looked for some curtains online but nothing really doing. The windows are huge. Think Dunelm may be way to go? Anyone had any experience with them? You mentioned cashback Piq? Anyone know if there is any chance of getting this with curtains?
Have a great time with the boys:rotfl:... I hope no unexpected reader stumbling on this thread jumps to any conclusions...it would quite ruin your reputation Piq

Mrs B, there's 2% cashback via Quidco for Dunelm. My mum thinks they're marvelous, fairly sure that her taste is not yours though :rotfl:
On the shopping front had a want not need moment and bought a new top. It's going back as I don't need it and I only bought it as a feeling fat and frumpy antidote, didn't work still look fat and frumpy :rotfl:What I need to do is get back on a diet then I won't feel this way - Simple huh?
Mrs Poorwoman I may post a picture, it's just that the Captain is quite unique in his looks and if anyone has met him they will remember him and thus work out who I am.
Off to do four hours overtime. I will be back with time to watch a recorded NCIS with any luck, accompanied by a glass of red as it's Sunday and my day off tomorrow :jTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
